We used zing properties when we were selling our home they promised me and husband that they could sell our home quickly to an investor if we reduced our price we were told our property already had an investor waiting to buy our house all we had to was sign on the dotted line. Before we signed we asked about the £3000 cancellation fee and told it wouldnt be that much if we had to pull out it was just a formallity. Laura the sales person contacted us persistantly until we signed as from that day forward we regretted our decision. The staff were rude when we contacted for an update laura didnt return our phone calls and after two weeks we had had enough this is the company who had so many investors on there books and an investor wanted to buy our house before it had even hit the market. The penny started to drop that we had been giving false information about how this company work. We decided we didnt want this company to sell our home and ask to terminate the contact Laura gave us the price of £500 if i contact the office and paid it, which i did straight away. I spoke to Lisa who kept telling me they could sell my home within 4 weeks just hang in there they were working very hard to find a buyer over ten time i told her i wanted to cancel and pay the £500 fee as arranged by Laura she then put me thro to Sandra the Director who was rude told me it was £500 + vat to cancel. Obviously i disputed this as this has gone up £100 within an hour to be told everyone knows its plus VAT and thats why its £600. After 40 minutes i just wanted to get out of this contact so i did pay the £600 as i was threatened with if i take my complaint to the ombassman they would add on charges. I am disgusted that a company can get away with treating clients like this i would never recommend this company in a million years. It has since been a week since cancelling our contact and our home is still on there website and they have tried to lock the home report so that we cant access this with DM HALLS however after all its our home and we are by law entitied to the home report as we have paid the fee of £600 this included the home report and marketing fees. Just another low blow from this company trying to prevent us from going to another estate agents.

Mar 3, 2014Leanne, thanks for your comments, firstly your contract was with Invest in Scottish Properties NOT Zing Property, Zing only assisted in marketing your property to get buyers and achieve a quicker sale, this was all explained to you at the start. Invest do not guarantee to have a buyer for your property within any set time period however they do have an active list of buyers that they approach when a new property becomes available. The aim is to get you a buyer as quickly as possible and dual marketing with Zing Property is one of the ways maximum exposure is guaranteed. I note that your property was only marketed for TWO weeks and during that time approximately 3 interested parties were taken to view it, with one of the parties expressing great interest and had subsequently arranged a second viewing which you chose to cancel. As you didn't have the money for a home report or marketing up front you were put onto a contract that quite clearly states, if you withdraw, they can charge you up to £3000 + VAT dependant on whether a successful buyer was introduced. Invest had no issues with your withdrawing and you were informed that the only costs you had to cover were the home report and a highly reduced fee for assisted viewings and marketing. Your contract with them was for a period of 6 months and they duly allowed you to cancel this within two weeks! They reduced your withdrawal fee to £500 + Vat to cover the home report, assisted viewings the cost of marketing your property. Should you have allowed the second viewing to take place then you would have had a buyer, at the full price you agreed to in less than two weeks of your property being up for sale. Your property has been removed from the portals and as you have now paid your home report fee to Invest in Scottish Properties you can access this at your leisure.

Apr 20, 2016DO NOT USE THEM!!! Tried to sell us a flat from a guy who was going bankrupt. Phoned us few times a day until we made an offer. Everything was very slow. They kept telling us flat is ours, everything is fine until few days before we were sopposed to get keys from the flat I phoned them to find out what was happening. They tried to avoid speaking to me on the phone. Irene Ignored my emails. An hour later I received a phone call from my sollicior to tell that the flat is no longer for sale as the owner went bankrupt, which doesnt happen in one hour.they must have known it right from the first day they did the viewing. Now we had to move out from our rented property. Ended up homless with our little girl. They did not even phone to apologise. Or returned my phone call after I phoned them again when found out big news and no one wanted to speak to me. DO NOT RECOMEND THEM. VERY POOR SERVICE!

The same people work for both Companies. Not sure the reply gives this impression. Makes it seem like they are two different companies run by different people.
