The business model that WeSold use is a great one, and after reading an article in the Guardian we decided to list our house with them. We sold our house with them in around 4 months and did save a decent sum of money than if we had of gone with a traditional agent, however there was a price to pay as the customer service we received from start to finish was very poor. If I was to sell another house in London I would use them, as with the current market and the prices, houses sell themselves and you could save a considerable amount of money. However if you require a basic level of customer service and want an estate agent who will do things like arrange viewings, negotiate with prospective buyers and deal with any enquiries then you are probably better going with a traditional agent. When they came out to take photos, the man they sent did a bad job, all the photos that they subsequently put on the listing were very dark and didn;t show the house as it should be. Also the floorplan the man did and put online got the rooms mixed up and was wrong. The description that was written was wrong and missed out some clearly important details as if it was written by somebody who hadn;t seen the house. For example it didnt say the house was fully double glazed when it was, it said there were coved ceilings when there are none at all in the house, it said the bathroom was half tiled when it was fully tiled. Also the EPC they did wasn't included when they listed the property. We then spoke to JJoe at wesold who admitted that the photos and descroption were substandard, we then had to take the photos ourselves, which were much better, and rewrite the description ourselves. So for the intial £172 we paid for them to list the property , we did all the work. We dioscussed getting the fees refunded and Joe was fairly rude and refused to put us through to Tom when we requested, Tom also ignored all our e-mails. When arranging viewings we could have done a better job ourselves, wesold were slow in informing us of viewings, and when viewers wanted to come back for a 2nd time we organised it with them directly as we knew that would speed up the process. When we had offers they were very poor at acting and negotiating on our behalf and often didn't call back or get in touch with us when they said they would. Subsequently one prospective buyer came directly to us to offer because they didn;t hear back from WeSold. All round the service we received was poor, however like I said the business model is a very good one and it can clearly save people a lot of money, I can only assume because of this they are probably very busy and cant give their clients a basic level of service.
The customer service was poor from start to finish. We didn;t have any specific demands but simple tasks like the photos, floor plan and decription were all done badly, and we had to redo them all ourselves. Then ongoing customer service was bad.

The staff at Wesold were courteous and respectful to us at all times. Joe took the time at the outset to explain the process to us and gave impartial advice on selling. As a result of this we felt quite comfortable in dealing with a company by phone and internet. The staff we normally dealt with ... Read Full Review

I found out about WeSold when they appeared on BBC Radio 4. I instructed them to act for me and an individual was quickly scheduled to perform an EPC, take photos and write a property description. This was done very efficiently and the photos and description were excellent. I received a lot of ... Read Full Review
