You can never get a straight and truthful answer. They never calls. Awful, awful, awful service. Please do yourself a favour and do not get involved with them….especially Anil.

The Property Ombudsman (TPO) has expelled two agents from its scheme but is in dispute with an auctioneer over the reasons for its departure.
TPO said David Key Property Limited and Leonard D Morgan & Co were referred to its compliance committee, which ruled that they should be excluded from the scheme.
In the first case, TPO said David Key Property Limited of Haringey, North London, took over a property portfolio which included a Guaranteed Rent Agreement.
Alto - Zoopla iamproperty Apex27 ValPal Connect Adjudication determined that the agent failed to act in accordance with the agreement by not removing the sub-tenants they had placed in the property, preventing the landlord from renting to tenants of his choosing. David Key Property also ceased its involvement with the property, including making rent payments to the landlord. The complaint was supported and an award of £4,000 was deemed reasonable.
David Key Property Limited was still displaying a TPO logo on its website yesterday but Estate Agent Today was unable to reach the agency on email or by phone.
In the second case, a dispute involving Leonard D Morgan & Co based in Newport, Wales, was referred to TPO. The complainant (a landlord) stated the agent failed to regularly transfer rent received from their tenant. Despite the agent advising that all rent due had been paid to the landlord, the agent failed to provide evidence to support this.
TPO supported the complaint and concluded an award of £1,000 was reasonable for the considerable distress and inconvenience caused to the landlord. This award was never paid by the agent, resulting in expulsion from the scheme.
Estate Agent Today was unable to contact Leaonard D Morgan & Co and emails to the company bounced back.
In a third case, Estate Agent Today understands that TPO is in dispute with a brand called BP Auctions after publicly claiming it has been expelled while the company said it left after ceasing trading earlier this month.
In 2024 to date, TPO said there have been three businesses expelled compared with 13 expulsions last year.
The Ombudsman attributed this to its proactive compliance checks and enquiries service which received more than 57,000 enquiries last year, helped prevent many issues from escalating into complaints.
“We try every avenue to ensure that awards are settled and thankfully in 99% of upheld complaints, the dispute is resolved with a compensatory payment for the consumer where appropriate.
“It's pleasing to see our early enquiries and proactive compliance work resulting in fewer expulsions.”

Despite alleging they would hand the money over they haven't and to crown it all off they have put in tenants without even informing the owners. They will probably liquidate the company as they owe £30k and they must be using dodgy accountants to not pay what they owe...

Being an agent myself, this is the WORST service i have ever encountered from ANY business, almost like the negotiator doesn't want the deal, not willing to do anything to help/assist with viewing, argued with me over the telephone, shouted at me, told me i cant speak to the manager, i said i am ready to pay a deposit and even the move in monies today, all because i said i cant view at 3, i can view at 4 as i am at work, and his response was 'well thats what time the viewings are this week, i dont know what else you want me to do for you' attitude is that of a teenager, unprofessional is an understatement. The property is vacant so why i cant view any other time than 3 i dont know? Obviously because the agent doesn't want to stick around and wait till 4.

I am really impressed with professional attitude from David Key. I was served by Andrew Seemungal (Senior Negotiator), from day one he was very attentive to my specific requirements and has very well fulfilled. I was also served by Ali who manages most of the leg works for viewings etc. Together they form a good team with seamless communication. They are reasonably priced so you should have confidence in selecting David Key for your requirements. David Key is not a big company however they have eye to details unlike other major estate agency companies where your particular requirements can be very easily overlooked because of their fixed way of working. Extremely unprofessional, and poor service. Avoid doing business with this establishment if at all possible. Problems initially caused by this establishment were when they had informed one of our fellow-tenants that it was okay for them to move out part-way through the contract. Later it was revealed to me personally, by the landlady, that this should not have been the case. After visiting the establishment in person, I was concerned to find they did not seem to have my contact details on file. Later on, we AND the Landlady herself had approached this establishment, and asked them to help us to find a replacement tenant. To this the establishment said they would oblige, and then contacted me, asking for pictures of the room, via whatsapp, no less, and asking about preferences for our potential replacement flatmates. Needless to say, after saying they would help us, there was no evidence to show they were taking any action at all, and upon the end of the tenancy, after voicing some of my concerns, I was told that this was not part of their job - which is rather confusing considering I have an email from them, saying they would help find a new flatmate. Upon moving out, I voiced a number of other concerns that simply went unanswered (I stress that as yet, many of the concerns I have raised are *still* unanswered.), and then encountered a huge amount of problems in obtaining our deposit back on time. Initially we were told that the uncontested amount of our deposit was released, and would be with us that afternoon. The deposit did not arrive, and we were then told that it was not released, and the landlady - who was conveniently unreachable at the time - was instead holding the deposit until we had produced final statements for all of the utility bills, and that any further dealings on this subject would be with the landlady - who as I mentioned earlier, had an unreachable phone, and was not responding to emails. Eventually, after this establishment held onto my deposit long enough to not only jeopardize my ability to afford a new place to live, but to also jeopardize my place on my course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama - where in the future of my career lies - by making me unable to afford my tuition fees, and also after some very animated discussions, was our deposit finally released - and that there was simply just some supposed hold up with the accounts team, which I suppose no-one in the establishment had thought to check for a very substantial amount of the month. I was later informed by the landlady herself, that the deposit released a while before this ordeal had reached its peak. I still do not understand what we paid for in our initial estate-agent fees, and why they deem the amount we paid to have been just, right, or ethical, if this is the kind of professional service they provide. Rather shambolic.
I will add that the house was also incorrectly advertised.
I stress that one should only do business with this establishment if they have no other option, and that they should also carefully scrutinize every communication with this establishment. One star is too good of a rating.

For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
