Martin & Co have impressed me beyond any expectation. Having looked after my interest relative to my property when it was let, and then later successfully managing the sale of it, I felt it would have been an injustice to not write the glowing review they deserve.
Martin & Co managed both the letting, and recently the sale, of my Basingstoke property. I owned the property for a decade and during that time, only three tenants cycled through it.
Martin & Co located each of the three tenants within days of the notice period. The property was never vacant, with the exception of a few days in between tenants; deliberately engineered to facilitate remedial works.
All three tenants were competently profiled by Martin & Co and they reflected their profiling in reality. They also always paid their rent on time, in-line with their contract.
In managing the sale, the whole team were consistently warm, friendly and helpful. One of the agents I was particularly impressed with was Andrew Sheldon. We had regular contact during the sale of the property and Andrew was always timely, organised and professional. He always worked diligently to ensure that all matters were handled sensitively and punctually, and his manner was only ever accommodating.
The sale presented its challenges at times relative to the other side, although these were managed seamlessly. Ultimately, the property exchanged and completed and I was grateful for the excellent service I received all the way through the process.
I will close by suggesting this: if you need a local agent for lettings, or for a sale, Martins & Co Basingstoke is an organised and professional outfit, run by an experienced and conscientious team that value their clients. I strongly recommend them.

Once the tenancy was arranged the rest of the team at Martin and Co have been excellent in helping us get everything set up for our move. Mica and Cloe have helped answer numerous questions we've had running up to the move in date and were great at explaining everything we needed to do on collecting the keys.
