After long term contract with them when moved out charged us from deposit. Our friend had the same and they always find something. During the tenancy had lot of issue which they were wery slow. Winter time left without heating for a week with a year old baby. Just advice and avoid... Read Full Review

BE VERY CAUTIOUS!! Ive been a long term tenant for 10 years. I tried to get Northwood to do vital repairs to the property but to no avail. Unfortunately I had no other option but to contact the health and safety.
Once their involvement Northwood kindly served me a Section 21 thirteen days before Christmas. obviously a (retaliation eviction).
Northwood also failed or couldn't be bothered to inform the owners/landlord of all the bad state of disrepair. So now the landlords have been served with serious improvement notices from my Local council. Leaving them with a fine and a un-rentable property.
Northwood has also hit my Local news (Crawley) earlier this week for serving a Section 21 on an elderly gentleman (very decent of them!)
Very dubious company, take cautioned!!!!.

Please do not hesitate to use Northwood, Crawley they offer a professional and courteous service, always trying to please. I used them as a landlord taking advantage of the full management service and it was a stress free process.
I have been so pleased with them that I referred friends to them and was pleasantly suprised to receive a referral fee as a result.

Will never use this agent again. When agreeing to let out property I could hear all agents cheering in the background as they let it before another agent did. It was very unprofessional. Will never use this agent again. When agreeing to let out property I could hear all agents cheering in the background as they let it before another agent did. It was very unprofessional. Being in the property we realised that it was full of damp and over time got worse. Someone from the agent came to take pictures nothing ever came of it. Over time damp got worse making us unwell we decided to leave as it wasn't fit for living in. Overall not a great agent will definitely avoid.

They charge you whenever they can for anything including when they make appts & then pretend they attended when they did not turn up. We have cctv so know when their telling lies.
BE AWARE - FROM 1ST JUNE 2019 IT BECOMES ILLEGAL TO CHARGE TENANTS FOR REF, AGREEMENT, OR MANY OTHER ITEMS THEY PRESENTLY CHARGE YOU FOR.

It would not be true to say they are useless as they are worse than useless.
No one seems bothered in that office. Paying through the roof for rent, they treat you without any respect. Absolutely rude and unhelpful!

Absolutely awful experience, Northwood far away from proving a professional service. Stay Away !!!!!!!
My contract was signed for 6 months with a plan to stay for 12 months and longer.
I used to pay £975.00 per months for two bedroom flat, in the end of my contract paid £90.00 for extending for further 6 months. In few days later I received an email stating I will have to leave and my contract will not be extended. I went to the office in Crawley, and spoke to the Most Rude and Unprofessional manager*.
I would strongly recommend, before you deal with Northwood in Crawley do check reviews online.
