This was my first time renting a flat so I was a bit nervous about the whole process, Nick from Northwood was amazing in getting us sorted with the flat, responding to emails extremely fast and just in general being very helpful explaining the process, a couple things needing fixed in the flat and they got someone out as soon as possible to do this. I'm currently in the process of leaving the flat and have had no issues, the correspondence has been great and overall my experience with Northwood has been extremely enjoyable so I would definitely recommend them. Credit to Nick who is a great agent.

I've had no issues with Northwood Dundee. All correspondence was polite, professional & friendly whenever I've had to contact them. Whenever I have had to contact them for any reason, whether by email or phonecalls - I've always been able to reach them which makes your time in their care feel that extra bit special.
With other tenant agencies I've always ran into problems & I never had confidence in being helped in any way but with Northwood Dundee all the staff have been exceptional in always being attentive & competent in their job. Staff members stay with you through any issues so it'll always be only one member handling you through email chains which helps keep everything efficient & the correspondence always remains friendly & pleasant whilst remaining professional.
During my time with them they've also updated their maintenance log system so you can now do this online so the job is officially logged and booked for repair & the system is accessible 24/7.
Highly Recommend.

To start with they want to start letting people see 2 months before you move out, the potential to cause you a lot of hassles over the last 2 months! However, I understand why. We ensured the house was clean and presentable and continued to do so and they never even told us they had it re rented out? We were still putting off appointments and arrangements and they never even told us they did not need back in! Very annoying indeed, especially when I work offshore and my time at home is limited and was seriously restricted for an additional week that it need not have been!!
Then, we moved out and I have asked twice now about the refund on my deposit, the holding company for the deposit never got any reply, nor did I to 2 x emails?
Almost as if, thanks for your cash, you are moving on, to hell with you. Wendy in the office is a busy lady and a joy to do business with. Very helpful. Like I say though, the end of the rental period and you let yourselves down a bit otherwise you would have a 100% rating from me.
I think a lot of the let down anybody experiences via Northwood is not as a result of Northwood but the owners of the property in some instances. It will obviously vary from place to place but I know in Dundee they are a good letting agent and worthwhile considering.

Do not use this agency!!!
My husband and I have received appalling service from Northwood Dundee and when trying to cancel our contract with them, because we can no longer trust them to carry out the job in which we pay them to do, they have a very unfair clause in our contract which stipulates we cannot break the agreement until the current tenancy is over. They also have another clause in the contract which stipulates we cannot provide the current tenant which they have found for us with a new tenancy agreement during the first 6 months after their end of tenancy date.
This leaves us in a very difficult position because it is forcing us to end a tenancy with our current Tenant (who is due to have a baby next month) in July and find new Tenants. We are not looking to cancel the contract because we no longer want to pay them for their service; we are looking to cancel on the grounds that they are not providing us with the service in which we are paying them for.
Our rent payments are always received about a week late and after several attempts to contact the agency I am given the reply that they '
