I have had quite negative experiences with letting agents in the past however would recommend Northwood wholeheartedly, specifically the Glasgow team.
Staff are professional and very helpful and good at keeping you in the loop/ addressing things in a timely manner.
Never had an issue raising any repairs and they were able to resolve these fairly quickly. Also the staff a few times went out of their way to be helpful and provide good customer service.

I had a really positive experience been a tenant for over a year with Northwood agency!! Communications for Lettings and property sales also first class, finding a buyer for my property very quickly, and managing the entire process throughout (including arranging a repair and co-ordinating with my insurer).

I then decided to sell my property and instructed Northwood to deal with this. It was a quick and smooth process and the team, especially Thomas, went above and beyond in the final few days leading up to the exchange date.
I would highly recommend Northwood as a letting and estate agent.

I can't recommend Northwood highly enough, I have used them for the past 7 yrs to let my property, I live in Australia so it's not easy to manage from there, however the team at Northwood have been fantastic, Isabelle, Patricia, Pamela , Thomas and all the others. They do a fantastic job, keep you informed with excellent communication. We have recently sold our property with Northwood, Keith was greatv explaining the process and I can't speak highly enough of the service provided by Thomas in particular, his customer service, communication and organisational skills are first class. He managed what could have been a difficult process given the distance & time difference etc seamlessly. Thank you all for all your help over the years ... cannot recommend highly enough.

Sold our property through Northwood - a quick & efficient process, dealt with in a professional manner. We would recommend to others. We were well informed about the process at the start (although once we'd agreed to proceed there was a minor lull in communication when we wanted to know next steps). Marketing was effective, leading to multiple viewings within days. Their office on Pollokshaws Rd is well positioned, looks good and staff are all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Northwood were very good at confirming viewings with us, conducting them themselves when required. We felt that Northwood offered us sound advice leading up to the sale, and communicated quickly with us and our solicitor. Their helpfulness continued to the very end when they offered to take receipt of post which we'd forgotten to redirect!

Absolutely delighted with the service from beginning to end. Northwood were my letting agents for many years prior to my decision to sell my buy to let and having delivered such excellent service throughout that time I couldn't see any reason to use anybody else to sell my property for me. Very professional team at Northwood, I have been renting out my property for 6 years and they all are very helpful and friendly. As a landlord I have used the services of Northwood from July 2006 - July 2015. They have been utterly professional in all my dealings with them and their personal service was second to none. No problem was too big for them to solve. I would recommend any landlord to use their services. They always treated me with kindness, respect and lots of humour. Tenant with them for over 7 years now within same property and an excellent tenant even though carpets and painting have never been done (i was told by agency its every 5 years that carpets get changed and whole property painted)
In less than one year that I have found myself in an unforeseen predicament and recieve housing benefit, they took the liberty to speak harshly, be rude and not get back to me with ALL queries I have.
I phoned and asked them several times over a period of couple of months to give me a statement due to housing benefit being paid directly to them. I was told the staff member who deals with that is off on sick leave and will get back to you as soon as she is back. No one got back to me until I was in arrears of over £1000!!! They now have issued a letter from their solicitor to give me notice to vacate.
I have two kids who are aged 7and 9 years old who grew up in this property and see it as their home and I would do everything I could do keep it but they have been horrific and play with people's lives.
Has anyone else had this horrible experience with them. If so, would you please let me know m&d if you want to stay anonymous then let me know and I'll give you my email address etc
