I was a tenant with Penny Lane Homes in Shawlands's 1 bedroom property back in year 2011-2013 and when I left that property in June 2013 they start making excuses and finally refused to give me back my deposit of £400. I had left the property in a very neat and clean and tidy condition and I still have all the photos taken of the property on that time and emails of their staff members who have deliberately misguided me, lied to me and kept my heard earned money with them with an intention of dishonesty. I can still remember the names of those agents working on that time who were Robert Downie, Joe, Kevinn and Paige Montgomery from their Barrhead and Johnstone office on that time. Penny Lane Homes have took over from a previous letting agency in June 2011 and we had signed a new contract with them. On that time they have mentioned it will not be a problem with our deposit when in future we will move out of property but they have made this change of management an excuse to avoid giving us our deposit money back at the end of tenancy. Whenever we had any issue with anything regarding maintenance they have never send anyone on time to address the issue and totally avoided to fix any problems. I think All the good reviews posted on this website are from their own family members and friends. My whole experience of renting with them was totally disgusting and a disgrace.
