Excuses were given but it was clear nothing was being done by the agency - not even sending someone to cover it up temporarily until shady excuse of insurance was sorted. Each and every time tenants communicated about it it had to be recorded again from the start due to Redwoods lack of record of notes, a basic skill.

Excuses were given but it was clear nothing was being done by the agency - not even sending someone to cover it up temporarily until shady excuse of insurance was sorted. Each and every time tenants communicated about it it had to be recorded again from the start due to Redwoods lack of record of notes, a basic skill.
Check outs were of a minimal standard, with rooms left filthy with broken items when other tenants left and this was accepted by Redwood.
Staff were conveniently never around to answer phones when tenants tried to follow up email correspondence.
Staff also inefficient at communicating with tenants - attempting to give tenants a fortnight of notice at end of contract.
By far the lowest standards of customer service, efficiency and standards of expectations I have ever experienced as a tenant.

Having used other agents in the past and even let my own properties, why I couldn't have found Matt and his team sooner is a shame because since putting my properties with Redwood estates I've been extremely happy with the service and efficiency. 10/10. I recently bought a flat through Redwood Estates, dealing with Lynn throughout the process. It was a fairly complex affair, since the flat was joint owned. This entailed much liaison between solicitors, the vendor and Housing Association. Lynn's communication was consistently swift, efficient and accurate. Despite the fact that the deal took five months to complete and with significant problems caused by the vendor at the 'eleventh hour', exchange and completion happened on time, allowing me to coordinate minor remedial works in accordance with my plan. I'd recommend Redwoods highly, for superb communication and efficient problem-solving. All round superb service!

In general they were ok, everything got done but everything could have been done a lot quicker and more efficiently. People don't seem to communicate with each other in the office which resulted in us getting mixed messages and they failed to tell us some fairly vital information. But overall... Read Full Review

She gave us some very solid advice and frequently took the time to check on our progress and offer her assistance. She was able to keep us informed regarding the referencing checks and let us know as soon as she had the results for us. She remained friendly and professional at all times.
When we found out that we were successful, she kept us updated about when we would be able to move in and allowed this to be as smooth as possible. Even after the move she has remained helpful and was able to pass on our queries to the relevant people.
Nikki was able to sort out a plumber for us the same day as the issue was raised and this was sorted within a few hours.
Overall a very enjoyable experience. For first time renters we were pretty clueless but Kate helped us the entire way through. I would definitely recommend!

We have just recently completed the sale of our property and we wanted to express how impressed we were with the service received from Lynn Randall of Redwood Estates. Lynn went above and beyond the service of your standard Estate Agent and she exceeded our expectations in every way. At times, the sale was stressful but Lynn was fantastic at proactively chasing all parties involved and keeping us completely updated along the way. An excellent service from the team at Redwoods, Woolwich Arsenal. Lynn and Hilary were very helpful right from the beginning when we first selected flats in the Woolwich area. The process from selecting, gaining positive reference checks and signing the tenancy agreement has been seamless. We moved in recently and had to rectify a few maintenance problems that were out of the teams control. Nikki has been very helpful and made every effort to liaise with me and the landlord and the works have been done in quick time!! An excellent service and fully recommend.

I live in an apartment block that is unfortunately managed (very badly) by Redwood Estates. When this change occurred, I don't know but they are not doing any better than the previous company, Houston Lawrence.
The secure underground parking gates kept breaking and there were notices posted that residents were vandalising the gates because they did not have key fobb's to open them. I have personally witnessed and even went to the effort to record video evidence of the gates failing by themselves leaving residents stuck. Everyone present had a key fobs. Despite warnings, they kept getting the same contractors in to fix the gate and the gate kept breaking.
Then there's the intercom which has been broken for a while. They won't fix it stating funds as an issue. I bluntly stated that it's going to be an issue if they keep hiring cowboy's to fix the gates that keep breaking by themselves. I have missed countless deliveries and so have my neighbours because couriers can't access the building. In an attempt to avoid missing deliveries, I leave notes for the couriers but Redwood Estates seems adamant on taking them down for some reason.
Despite requesting multiple times to view the accounts to establish why there isn't funds to fix things, they keep fobbing me off. I have contacted the property ombudsman and they can't help me in this instance and am now getting legal advice.
If anyone is thinking of using Redwood Estates to manage any of your properties then I strongly advise you to re-think.

we were their tenants for 2.5 years and all our enquiries were always answered immediately and problems, issues solved. They always respected our privacy even when the house was placed on the market for sale all viewings were agreed with us in time convenient for us.
we have now moved to own house and I was impressed when we received our deposit back week after we moved out. It really helped a lot!
