Thank you Novahomes for providing an excellent service. The lettings side have managed 2 rental properties for us since 2014 and have always been efficient and supportive. The sales side have kept us informed of progress, chased buyers when necessary and helped us through the process, always with a cheery voice and positivity. Lee, Stuart, Holly and all the staff are a great team and I would definitely recommend them.

I cannot recommend Nova homes highly enough. I’ve used them twice in 12 months to sell buy to let’s after my tenants purchased their own properties. On both occasions they have been excellent; obtaining buyers within a week, achieving more than the asking price. In fact, I had a choice of offers to accept with full details of the chain, if any chain and the loan to mortgage value so that I could make an informed decision. Lee, Stuart, Andy have been great to deal with and I have to say that Megan and Holly have gone above and beyond their role to keep me informed of the sales progression and keeping me sane when the buyers solicitor wasn’t returning anyone calls, including to his own client - the buyer, for 3 weeks!?!? Our first sale was a first time buyer who needed Nova’s help to understand his survey results and our latest buyer was a cash buyer whose solicitor dragged his heels. On both occasions they have been fabulous and what makes it even better… they were the most competitive on fees and achieved asking prices both times for more than other agents expected. It was a win, win for me. If you are having any doubts about why they can be so competitive it’s because they have the process down to a ‘T’. Their communication within the team, with my solicitor and myself has been outstanding. I cannot tag Megan in the review but she has been an absolute super star.

I bought a house through Nova homes and have just exchanged and completed. It has been a tricky, long drawn out sale and has taken 5 months. It has been frustrating getting solicitors to literally get things moving. As a result of this I have spoken to Nova Homes lots. Especially in last couple of weeks. I can honestly say I cannot remember a nicer bunch of folk. Every single person has been friendly, kind and utterly helpful. Nothing is too much trouble - and boy has this sale been trouble. But every person I have spoken to is just so nice. Especially Holly when I was having a really tough day. This is good old fashioned customer service at its finest. You lot are great - and I am just really grateful for all your help. And thank you so much for the hamper too.

The worst estate agents we’ve ever dealt with.
We are a young couple who have recently moved back to Plymouth after me ending my studies in Southampton. We have been looking at several properties a week for months now, I noticed one had been on the market for a particularly long time so booked a viewing with Megan from Novahomes.
Absolutely loved the property and cannot fault Megan, it was the first one that has really stood out to us. So we paid a £155 holding deposit on the day as well as giving notice on our current flat. We completed the referencing process and successfully passed!
Absolutely ecstatic that we’d finally found somewhere, arranged a day to pick up the keys and finalise everything. Anyway I get an email from Novahomes THE DAY BEFORE we’re supposed to pick up the keys, apparently the Landlord has only just read our (already completed and “successful” references) and has not only changed his mind, he will only take us if you pay £75 more per calendar month along with 3 months rent in advance!!!!
The flat was already a little over budget (especially considering its history of a mould problem, and vile carpets which we were willing to work with) me and my partner both work 7 day weeks so didn’t mind spending a little more to get exactly what we wanted.
Novahomes not only let us down leaving us 2 weeks to find a new property or we’d be homeless! They have also refused to give our holding deposit back (which is illegal as we didn’t not want the flat, it was the landlord’s decision)
I am now having to take legal action against the company as they have point blank refused to give us our money back because they took the property off the market for 10 days (please bare in mind it had been on the market already for about 2 months, so they weren’t earning money on it anyway)
I would 100% NOT recommend this company. Clearly very money hungry and I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else, especially not when people are loosing their jobs and were about to go into a recession!
We have since found another property with the company Julian Marks who have been amazing, so friendly and helpful as well as HONEST and clearly not money hungry thugs!

They know the market and when I had a little wobble thinking my house would not sell / I was not getting many hits on the advert, they reassured me that it was the time of year (over Christmas) and that in the first weeks of January, interest in my property would increase . .that was an understatement, lol! I sold really quickly and I cannot thank the team enough, especially Lee, Keira and Kiera. .FANTASTIC!!

Following a failed sale with another local estate agent I decided to take my property off the market.
After giving it some further thought in the spring I decided to re-market my property with a different agent and contacted Novahomes. Lee came out and met me, he conducted the valuation and then sat and discussed the aspects of the sale, the fee (which was much lower than the previous agent) and about Novahomes.
I agreed to list the property, Lee then took some photos taking the time to get them right, having explained the importance of getting photos right (as people increasingly make the decision over whether to view a house based on the photos they see online).
The house was advertised online in no time at all with a great description pointing out all the positive aspects of the property (all truthful and not over hyped) along with some great photos.
We had a number of viewings in the first week and then started receiving offers, within the second to third week we had achieved the full asking price and agreed the sale.
We were then passed to the Novahomes progression team who kept us up to date with the progress on the sale. Some weeks later our buyer ended up in a legal dispute which prevented them from selling their property.
After a discussion with Lee, he quickly re-marketed our property and within a week we had once again achieved a sale. We were then passed back to the progression team who kept in regular contact with us updating us on the aspects of the sale.
We have now exchanged contracts and I sit here writing this review surrounded by boxes waiting to move in a few days' time.
I cannot thank Lee and the Novahomes team enough for all their help and support. You have made what is quite possibly one of the most stressful time in a person's life (moving home) a little easier.
