About James
James is the Director of Fielding Properties, an independent company based in Daventry established in December 2014. They are solely focused on the management of and the investment in residential property in the Northamptonshire and Warwickshire area.
James won the 2015, 2016 and 2017 AllAgents.co.uk Gold Award
for \\\"Best Letting Agent in Northampton\\\" and \\\"Best Letting Agent in NN11\\\" and in 2020, \"Best Letting Agent In Daventry, NN11 and Best Overall Agent\".
He has spent his entire working life in the property industry - in addition to running his own property companies, James has worked with and for estate agents, property management companies, property brokers and investment consultancies.
Through his consultancy work, James sources and refurbishes residential rental properties for a large number of clients from a broad cross-section of backgrounds, as well as providing business consultancy services specifically for Estate Agents, Letting Agents and Financial Services companies. Services delivered include general troubleshooting, training sales teams, increasing instruction levels and market share, marketing, brand development and implementing profitable procedures. Historically, his work has included setting up a letting agency from a cold start before ultimately selling it on (as well as being heavily involved with the franchising and launch of the brand across Scotland and parts of England), residential estate agency, establishing and running a property maintenance company, establishing and running a property investment service for an estate agency, producing marketing and advertising campaigns, working with and sourcing property for various investment syndicates, organising and delivering property seminars, investor coaching and bespoke property sourcing.

Having used Fielding Properties as a landlord for several years now, I can safely say they are one of the best agencies I have used. The staff are exceptionally professional, polite and all round lovely people. They are quick to answer queries and fix any issues that occur within the property, and they look out for both tenant and landlord, which I think that is the best way to be. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fielding Properties or use them again in the future for anything property related.

Then unfortunately for us we've been taken over by another local letting agency (long story but I'm sure James will be happy to tell you more about it ) and it wasn't soo good anymore... actually it was quite bad❗ Problems with repairs, delays.. they were there just to collect the rent from us ? and nothing else! Damp on the walls? You're breathing to much air out when sleeping. Birds in the attic making noises in the morning after your night shift at work when you need some sleep? Surely it's your imagination... And lots of other issues... Nothing like that we experienced when James was looking after us! All problems were resolved quickly and professionally.

When I needed to re-let my investment property, I received expert guidance and support from James.
This was my first time using a letting agent and I was most impressed with how quickly they found me an excellent tenant, as well as arranging all the safety certificates and other documentation.
After self-managing for the last couple of years, I have realised how much easier it is to use a professional agent, especially one who is as friendly, approachable and proactive as Fielding Properties is.
Their fees represent phenomenal value for money but the peace of mind that they give me is priceless - highly recommended.

Miss Nadine is a credit to the excellent Fielding Properties team, she helps to deliver a fusion of highly professional management services; negotiating, recommending tradesmen to maintain the property safety, specification & standard and of course liaising with tenants assisting with and relaying their comments.

We used Marc to remortgage our flat and to get a mortgage on a new property and are so glad that we did.
From start to finish Marc took the stress out of the process. He found us great rates that were only available to brokers, and was on hand to guide us through the process.
During a time when mortgage lenders were inundated with applications, Marc worked tirelessly to get ours seen to in the quickest time possible. He went above and beyond to secure the mortgage offer, and for that we will always be very grateful.

Does my one extra 5* count as already Fielding's have an all 5* rating. I just want to say a massive thank you to James; Nadine and the team for making my renting years such a pleasure. I have always owned property so when I found myself having to rent I was dubious to say the least. I need not have worried. Fielding properties have been absolutely amazing agents and I could not have asked for more. Living in the same property for 6 years you can imagine I have had my fair share of fences blowing down and repairs that have needed attention. Nothing has been too much trouble and has been dealt with promptly and professionally. I cannot think of one negative experience I had encountered over the years whilst James and co have managed the property. I have recently ended my tenancy to buy property again but I would never rent from anyone else. I am sure the new tenants will have an amazing experience just as we did.
