I have recently purchased and resold a large period property that was in a desperate state of disrepair. During the initial purchase from the then vendor my point of contact was Ian Tweedley who negotiated and assisted in the purchase and was thoroughly professional throughout.
After the refurbishment I then reselected Barton Kendal for the resale of the property based upon there professionalism in the initial purchase.
The resale was handled by Emma who successfully negotiated the properties sale and provided complete support and a very professional and prompt service during what turned out to be a rather protracted conveyance.

Just a thank you for the excellent and efficient service we received from Ian and all the team with the recent auction of my mothers property in Davyhulme st Rochdale.
At first we were a little apprensive of putting it through an auction,but took Ians advice as we live 60 miles away and were not in a position to renovate the house which had not had any real works done to it in 40 years.
But it was the best thing we could have done and fetched the price we expected with no hassle at all.

We are not in the habit of writing reviews of this sort but in this case we felt that it was the appropriate thing to do. Our property was not an easy sell as it involved a long chain and took several months to complete. Throughout this time the level of service from Barton kendal was professional, personal and indeed Jack was able to smooth over potential difficulties as can happen with this type of business. We were always kept informed and up to date with progress and at no point did we feel anxious about the sale. The friendly nature of all the staff especially Jack and Ian made this very stressful time relatively easy. We would definitely recommend Barton Kendal to friends and family and we would hope to use them again in the future.

Barton Kendal sold my father's house for me. The house was priced correctly and generated immediate interest and was sold within a week. The whole experience was hassle free. I am now selling my own property which again had an offer on it within 4 days another a positive experience.
