As day one,we had several problems,like lying about the condition of the house. They forgot to mention that the house was seriously rat-infected. Ciar is the most arrogant accountant I have ever met. John is amusing,when hes got no idea,what to do,how to handle problems. Even,at the end of the tenancy(during it we were calling the head office,like 2times a month,average,regarding the rats),I am waiting for my deposit since weeks. They are trying to find the smallest problems to deduct from it. (Eg: 1 piece of raspberry in fridge=professional cleaners for�50,standard �70 for ENDING tenancy,absolute NO answers for my emails from head office,and they did deduct my rent,AFTER we moved out,fortunatelly the will send it back,offcourse,deducting a fee) This company is an absolute failiour,outragious,what they are doing!!!!

The house had not legally been split into two separate living quarters as confirmed by the water board.
Infested with mice.

We chose a smaller letting agency for a reason -- the big chains were terrible, though I won't name it/them here.
Imagine going six months, from October to Easter, with no heat nor hot water. And calling, no joke, at least a hundred times, to get it resolved. It was the bi-annual inspector (it had just started before an inspection, she made a note of it and was shocked to find it had not been fixed by the next one) that finally lit a fire. And boy, did she. They could not get it fixed fast enough. It was so cold that winter, we could see our breath INSIDE the flat! Unfortunately, we were powerless; this country seems to favour landlords over tenants. We even contacted our MP; they pretty much confirmed that thought, though were very nice and tried to advise as best they could, but withholding rent (as back in N. America) until it was repaired... was not an option.
Fast forward to David Daniels. We looked for a flat for two+ months, and it was terrifying. But we finally went with a smaller independent agency, in the hopes they'd treat us better. It's been quite good the last... four years? Property issues are generally resolved very quickly, and the people are lovely. All of them. ?

the worst agency i have ever seen in my life.
They promised us a lot of things and at the end we had to beg to have our deposit back as nothing they said happened.
they changed the moving date twice and at the end they told me that they didn't know anymore when the tenants would have move out. they knew my situation and they knew that i did not have a place to stay but their answer was ''its not our problem''.
please never go to let or buy anything with them!!! you will regret it as i did !!!!

As a new landlord I used David Daniels as they were local to the property, I have found them to be very profession friendly and helped me along the journey as Landlord. The letting of the property only took a couple of week as sorted and tenant moved in. I will used them again in the future... Read Full Review

The letting of the property only took a couple of week as sorted and tenant moved in.
I will used them again in the future should I need some new tenants.

What agent could do to change your mind?

I was very happy using David Daniels to find a flat. Daniel Matthews was very helpful from the start, even though we had to move in before the flat was officially available, he arranged everything.
