Lindsay was very professional, friendly and courteous throughout all our interactions. She knew the local area well and the market well as well. My property was marketed with 2 other agents beside Foxtons and she managed to bring me a very good offer within a week of the property being on the market. Compared to the other agents, she kept me in the loop and updated me in a timely manner. Will consider using Foxtons again due to her hard work.

Foxton's fee is one of the highest (if not the highest) among all other high street estate agents. However you get what you pay for and we felt the level of service we received certainly worth the additional 0.5% - 1% commission fee

Their fees were a little higher than other companies and before putting my home on the market I gave quite a lot of thought as to whether to instruct a less expensive agent. I'm extremely glad I didn't. The sale price they achieved was many tens of thousands of pounds in excess of the asking price suggested by other agents and covered the slightly higher cost of their fees many, many times over.

The agent should only be paid when a sale is completed and not when documents are exchanged. They are extremely unfair in asking full fees when they have not completed a sale.
