This is one of the worst agency I ever came across in my life. After passing all the references, they would agree in principles to let you the property and provide you the date to come and sign. When you are fully confident of securing a contract and moving the the property, they would call you the day before to inform you that the landlord has found a new tenant offering more. Knowing that you have no other options and restricted by the time and the circumstances around such notice already provided to your landlord, arrangements already made, then you have no option to agree to this new rent without even have a choice really. Bunch of crooks
Fees are really unknown. They would quote you with one fee and then soon as you pay, they would revert back to claiming that there was another fee unquoted but incurred by the landlord. Then they would not release the contract or else until you pay this unquoted fee, coming out of the blue.

The 1st issue occurred back in October 2016 and was caused by your landlord having found another tenant herself who was prepared to pay more, we was not aware of this until you were. Secondly ALL of OUR fees are correctly displayed and you are aware of. The fees that you are questioning and have now agreed to pay are fees that your Landlord has directly incurred to change the name that you wish to have added to your Tenancy Agreement Michael.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
