Where do I start with this so called agent! They are useless!!!! David Walker is a typical sales man and talks utter nonsense and will purposely over value your property to ensure you sign up with them. The rest of the branch staff are just as incompetent and have no idea how to sell a house. NOTE - William h brown staff get commission on the number of properties they have on there books NOT commission based on the sale of properties, hence they don't care once you have signed the contract. Once you are signed up, they have no interest (or idea) how to sell a property. Dealt with several members of the Oakwood branch who, to put it simply, were clueless. To make matters worse, the branch didn't even have my house advert on the branch window and the brochure details hadn't even been printed - this was 1 week after everything going live!!! Upon contacting the branch manager, they were just as clueless as the rest of there incompetent staff and even she had no clue about my property. Throughout the process of my house being for sale with them, they constantly lied and fobbed me off saying they were trying to sell it yet they couldn't even organise an open day successfully. The viewings we did get, the agent who turned up had very little idea about the property and most of these were just time wasters! After these viewings no feedback was received or even an update from anyone at the branch! To make matters worse, David Walker this so called expert property valuer will try and sell you all the extras they offer yet they deliver absolutely nothing!! My best advice to all - avoid this useless agent and go with someone else!
No procedure set.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced from an estate agent and a real waste of my... Read Full Review

Having to find an estate agent to put my Mums house up for sale when she moved into a nursing home was of concern as I didn't live locally but in the south. I contacted William h Brown as they were local to Mums house and Julie came round to value the property and explain how it would be marketed... Read Full Review

I used Brown's to get a valuation, they sent a vendors pack out, without the brochure, detailed the wrong address, I corrected them and the agent still went to the wrong address. I phoned them to let them know I would be using another agent, and they have been hounding me weekly since. They do... Read Full Review
Brown\'s need to tidy up their admin process, listen better and not be so pushy, this seems to be as n organisation issue rather than an branch issue, but I wouldn\'t consider using any Brown\'s branch in any capacity.

Firstly overestimated the property consequently we've lost best time of the year to sell it. Secondly unreliable, untrue, avoiding or not replying to my queries.. Thirdly expensive comparing to the level of service. I would not use them again... Read Full Review
