When it came to selling our flat and choosing the right estate agency we went with Balgores ( it's been highly recommended to us by the ex-neighbor who also sold through them). I must say I was dreading all the sale and buying hassle and stress but it turned out we've made the right choice! Not only were Charlie and Daniel professional, knowledgeable and helpful but they also helped us to negotiate a reasonable discount on our potential house and guided through the tricky process of choosing the right mortgage deal! I dealt with Christopher West when selling my mothers house. I found him to be knowledgeable and very helpful in the initial setting up of the sale.
Once photos has been taken the property was placed on the market at the correct price and the house sold within a day. I was kept fully up to date with how the sale was progressing by Balgores who endured a trouble free completion was reached. I would have no hesitation using Balgores again.

As a first time buyer, the property buying process was new for me and having raised some points highlighted in my surveyor's report, I had two very unpleasant and unprofessional phone calls from Kellee Newman.
Kellee told me I was being 'cheeky' for requesting a price reduction and an allowance for some work that needed to be done to the property. When you are buying a property it is part of the process to ask these questions. She also said that my surveyor always undervalued their properties which I thought was unprofessional. My surveyor was RICS qualified and always very pleasant and professional when he spoke to me....Kellee should take a leaf out of his book.
She also told me I was being cheeky for asking to break the chain when Balgores had not communicated the chain's expected completion date to me in advance of me putting the request forward.
I was very taken aback by how aggressive she was to me on the phone. I ended up having to be aggressive back which was strange for me as this is not how I communicate with others in my professional life. But there are times when you have to stand up for yourself and this was definitely one of them.
This experience made buying my first time quite stressful and whenever I would see an incoming call from Balgores I would dread having to answer it.
On account of this experience, I would not recommend Kellee and if I ever need to use an estate agent I will not be using Balgores in Hornchurch.
Moral of the story: it costs nothing to be professional in your dealings with people no matter how much you want to maximise your commission.

Wow! From start to finish amazing. Always available to answer questions, super informed and valuation was bang on the money! Kellee was a great first point of contact who took me through all the paper work always with a smile on her face (no matter how dumb my questions).
