My property was managed by the landlord who was great throughout. Foxtons's involvement was literally to list and let the flat, so their involvement basically started after we announced we were moving away and thus had no potential monetary value to them. Over the course of 1 month, we had north of 60 viewings arranged, pretty much all of which were arranged at less than 8 hours notice, let alone 24 hours. Multiple offices (queens park, west hampstead, willesden green, st johns wood) were booking without coordinating centrally so even if we asked one of them to please give an appropriate amount of notice another one would email in the middle of the work day for a 6pm viewing. It was basically an absurdly dull game of clerical whack-a-mole and it was exhausting. Eventually we just stopped asking them for this minimum courtesy since there wasn't a hope in hell of them honouring it and allowing us the freedom to arrange our own move during evenings and weekends. Then, a complete hash was made of the deposit release, finally finding its way to us more than 3 weeks after our landlord approved it and more than 6 weeks after we moved out. They didn't have to do much, but absolutely nothing to recommend from their minimal involvement in our tenancy.
Pretty narked at paying checking and processing fees to these ijits. They sure as hell didn\'t deliver any value to me.

Sep 7, 2021Same here. I'm literally in the same position. Their incompetence to coordinate or even put notes down on a tenant for other agents to read is too much to ask for. No respect for tenants' working or private lives. Their constant whatsapp harassment is getting out of hand. I will never have thought that one day I will speak badly of a company. But here we go - foxtons agents are trash. They have no manners whatsoever. Forever avoid if you can.
