I recently had to sell our home. We had bought the house through Chestertons so I decided to use them to sell the house. It was absolutely the right decision. All the team, but especially Henry, Matthew and Kelly, were so helpful and always on the end of the phone when I called, and they also stayed in contact with the agent selling the house I was buying to make sure everything matched up. They have great local knowledge and a fantastic base of prospective buyers, it was someone they contacted who bought the house in the end. They arranged a good number of viewings, and I know they tried hard to be available when people wanted to see the house. I know from my own experience of looking at other houses in the area that this isn't always the case, especially the internet based agents. I know there is a move to put more estate agents online, but for me, for such an important transaction, having a local agent, who I could call or pop in and see when I had a question or needed help, was fantastic. If I ever have to sell my new house, I would definitely chose Chestertons again.
I thought the agents fees were reasonable for the amount of work the team put in selling my house.
