Kane was so professional throughout. He was able to answer all of my questions and if ever there was uncertainty would immediately contact the landlord and provide me with answers.
He regularly kept me up to date with the arrangements/plans and reassured me of my judgement throughout (with myself being new to renting).

We cancelled our agreement after one year and sold the property a couple of months later. Kate helped as much as she could during the time in between and we are ever so grateful! Genuinely helpful people, including Colleen, and not the run of the mill lettings agents.

The Senior Property Manager, Charlie Aldridge, at Oakwood Estates in the Richings Park has been outstanding. She has been providing us with great service since the commencement of our lease. My whole experience with Oakwood especially the lettings side has been excellent from the start of being shown the house, the getting us into the property with the admin side of things and then once we were in, the professional and fast service with regards to any teething problems has just been outstanding, everyone has been extremely friendly and just so prompt in getting any requests we have had dealt with. She emailed me about the new online fault reporting system, which was extremely helpful for passing information, and when something was reported, it was acted upon promptly. She always replied quickly to emails and calls, and left me with the feeling that property management was, at last, professionally dealt with. She was extremely professional and impartial in dealing with my deposit dispute, and she was an extraordinary change for the better in the way I had dealt with Oakwood Estates for 5 years. She treated me, a tenant, as a customer, not as a product or an inconvenience.

My views on the service provided by Oakwood Estates have improved only due to the very noticeable changes she introduced. Property management means not only dealing with someone’s owned property, it also means, more importantly, dealing with houses where people actually live their lives, families, etc. I think that Oakwood Estates didn’t have that vision at all, but I have to give credit to changes for the better and recognise that, in the last year, that changed, at least in my dealings with Kate Mardon, and her professionalism and approachability. Oakwood Estates is on the right track to real change.

I have rented my flat via Oakwood for a couple of years now. At the beginning I found communication with them was not easy, there was never one point of contact! Every time I had to contact them, it would be different people responsible for my flat, messages would be taken no-one would respond , the image it projected of them was that, they were unprofessional and I was left feeling angry and frustrated. Since Charlie has come on board communication is fantastic, I e-mail her and will normally get a response within half an hour.

Complaints Procedure
<h3><strong>Complaints Procedure</strong></h3>
<p>Providing an excellent customer service is important to Oakwood Estates and in the vast majority of cases this is exactly what you will receive. However, just occasionally, something goes wrong and a customer, unfortunately, has cause to complain. If this happens, we will always acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 working days and do everything we can to speedily resolve the problem.</p>
<p>This can usually be best achieved by contacting the person you originally dealt with. That person will expect to hear from you if you are unhappy and will aim to resolve your complaint on the same day. While we would like to hear from you by telephone, should you decide to write to us, we will call you with the same objective in mind.</p>
<p>If an immediate solution cannot be achieved because further investigation is necessary, we will let you know straight away.</p>
<p>Should our investigation take longer than anticipated, which will only happen if the circumstances are particularly complex, we will explain why and we will make sure you are provided with regular updates. We will not normally allow any complaint to be unresolved for more than 4 weeks, as we will always agree a course of action with you within this time.</p>

<p>If, at the end of this process, you still remain dissatisfied with the outcome, you have the right to take your complaint to the relevant Ombudsman Service. They will consider your complaint totally impartially and we are bound by their decision. We do hope, however, that your complaint will have been resolved much earlier and you will not find it necessary to take this action.</p>
