I have utilised Northwood's Guaranteed Rent scheme for the past 15 years. Living abroad during that period gave us piece of mind that our tenants were taken care of and we received an income every month. With this scheme, Northwood have handled any maintenance with their contractors and quotes for work could be quickly approved by email. There were times early on when we had some difficult tenants but we did not have to worry about tenants not paying or needing to be evicted. Apart from the odd exception, tenants have been very good and looked after property well. Northwood also supported the recent sale of the property achieving a sales price in line with expectation.

We recently sold a 2 bedroom flat through Northwood and found Simon and the team extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Weekly calls to update us with information, any questions we asked were answered if not immediately if they had to find out information to answer the question, they would get back to us shortly after with an answer. We were supported and guided by Simon Bell through the sale. We highly recommend this Estate Agency and would definitely use them again. My sister previously bought the property through Northwood. Simon is incredibly friendly and made a very stressful situation easier as he is always happy to go above and beyond in his duty to his customers.
He has helped me in several different ways, is an excellent member off staff with a very calming influence. His knowledge and commitment to his job is outstanding; after the experience of having Simon on board selling my house I would go with Northwood for any future moves.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
Complaints Procedure
1. Making an initial complaint
Each office is independently owned and operated and has a local Director who will be, in part or in whole, an owner of the branch. In the first instance your complaint should be directed in writing to the local Director. He or she has an honest and sincere desire to resolve your complaint as soon as possible and should respond within ten working days.
2. Making a formal complaint
If for whatever reason you remain dissatisfied then you should write or email us. Please provide full written details of your complaint and copies of any supporting evidence. The Complaints Officer, who will provide an independent review of the complaint, will investigate your complaint.

3. Receiving your complaint
We will acknowledge the receipt of this written complaint within three working days and explain our process for resolving it.
4. Resolving your complaint
We will then investigate your written complaint as soon as possible and write to you as soon as we have completed our investigation. This process should take 15 working days. In our letter (the final viewpoint letter) we will explain:
The outcome of our investigation
What we will do to put things right if we have made a mistake
5. Property Ombudsman Review
If you are still unhappy at this stage, you have the option to take your complaint to the Property Ombudsman within six months of the date of the final viewpoint letter. The Property Ombudsman will not investigate any complaint that has not followed the in-house complaints process. Further details of the Property Ombudsman are available at tpos.co.uk
