The best estate agents for renting in London I've used. They managed the property too and were super quick and helpful to come back to us when there were any issues. Monique and Charlotte were super helpful and Elza for the contract/check-out stuff. Rob and Dan were also really helpful when we found the flat.

We got in contact with Keatons to arrange a viewing for a property that had become available to rent on Rightmove.
We originally requested an afternoon viewing, to my surprise we was told by Charlotte who is the Lettings manager that she only does viewing either on her way to work or on her way home from work due to location of the property which to me is ridiculous.
Why list a property that you don't have time to attend to conduct viewings? Nevertheless we arranged to view the property at 17.30 the following day, to my surprise I opened my email at 16.47 and I had an email from Charlotte advising she was “swamped” with work and couldn't make it.
By this time we had already left to attend the viewing, when cancelling a viewing with less than an hours notice it would be common courtesy to at least give a call to advise as not everybody checks their emails as regularly as I do.
I will be contacting Jay who I have been told is the office manager as the service so far has been shocking.

Contracts are heavily skewed in favour of landlords, the company just wont help you if something goes wrong so you'll be on your own. Horrible... Read Full Review

The place was horrifyingly dirty to the point of there was unflushed toilet paper, half consumed food and soap, sanitary ware covered in limescale and a ton of previous tenant's belongings that I had to throw out. Normally, if the previous tenant had left the place in a good condition, no cleaner would be required. However, this was not the case and I requested a cleaner. Shockingly, they replied that if they pay for a cleaner now, I will have to pay for a cleaner when I move out. If I don't want to pay for a cleaner when I move out (even though I would always clean myself and make sure it's spotless), I would have to accept it as it is.

This shows me that they do not have a way to treat their clients fairly. I have never been in an apartment where agency/landlord allowed their place to be trashed then told their tenants to accept it and they can leave it in the same condition. Extremely poor customer service. I would definitely try to move out as soon as the contract finishes.
P/S - I looked up their reviews on Facebook and apparently almost every renter experience the same problem! it is their standard procedure to ask clients to accept a dirty place!

Keatons have been the best estate agency that I've ever personally dealt with. They assisted us in finding the property we wanted, in the area wanted and also helped us acheive the budget we wanted. Charlotte has been very responsive, friendly and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. Moving house is stressful and a good estate agency can make or break that. If you're looking to move in South-East London, couldn't recommend Keatons more. Thanks!
