Washing Machine Issue Reported an issue with my washing machine and they were in the next day to look at the issue then the following day replaced the broken washing machine with a new one. A great turnover considering the situation with COVID-19. Everyone I dealt with was really pleasant and considerate.

I chose Julie Twist Properties to sell my 2 bedroom apartment in Salford Quays. I wanted an agent that has a physical presence in the area and I certainly made the right choice.
My initial contact was with Sarah, but I also dealt with Paul and Rebecca. All were professional, super helpful and patient.
From giving the go ahead to market the property, it was soon live with great photos and accurate and easy to read text.
There were quite a few viewings and I received written feedback after each one. I found this very useful.
It achieved its full asking price and I was delighted.
At all times I was kept fully informed about the sales processes and timescales etc.
I would use Julie Twist Properties again if I ever decide to sell my other property. Sarah, Paul and Rebecca really were an A team. Thanks again, guys.

Julie Twist recently took over the management of my flat & my first experience of reporting a maintenance issue was disappointing to say the least.
I first reported my oven not working (grill & hob still working) via Property File on a Monday morning after stopping working over the weekend. By the Thursday I still hadn't received a response. I rang the office on Thursday & I was told that the maintenance issue had only been passed on to the landlord's maintenance team on the Wednesday & Julie Twist were awaiting a response. I stressed the fact I would be going into another weekend with no working oven & would like to know when I would hear back. I was told I would receive an update on Friday.
I receive no update on Friday so rang again, no update, the issue was being chased. I rang again in the afternoon & was told I would hear back by the end of the day - nothing again.
Nobody seemed bothered or wanted to take the issue seriously. This was really disheartening, I understand it wasn't an emergency but it is an essential appliance & would have thought this could be resolved within a week.
On the Sunday whilst using the grill & hob, the electrics in the flat tripped & there was a bang on the hob. A hole had cracked by one of the hob rings. I was shocked this had happened, it was incredibly dangerous & who knows, it could have been a lot worse. I really feel like this could have been avoided if the issue had been seen to during the week.
Eventually after sending an urgent email the following day & calling the office, Margaret from JT got in touch & arranged a new oven to be fitted within 24 hours.
I was very grateful for Margaret stepping in, however I received no apology throughout this incident. I thought this was the least JT could do in terms of customer service & care for their tenants as I had been let down.
Not filled with confidence for any future issues or if the staff genuinely care about tenants.

From the very beginning Julie Twist have always been professional. Whenever there's a problem in our flat they're happy to help and recently we asked for a bigger fridge freezer and it wasn't long till the maintenance guys came round. I am a tenant living at St Lawrence Quay.
Yvonne Cook was incredibly helpful for me, when on a Thursday morning on my way to work I had the embarrassment and misfortune of dropping my keys down a drain between my flat and my car. This is the first time that such a thing has happened to me, and I rang Yvonne once I got to work just after 9 o’clock. She was very understanding and helpful, almost instantly offering to go to the flat herself in an effort to retrieve the keys.
She phoned back only a matter of 10 or 15 minutes later to let me know that she had managed to get my keys back for me, and that they would be available for collection at the office. This put me at ease for the rest of my day, and I was and remain extremely grateful for this quick and no-fuss help. Thanks Yvonne!

For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
Complaints Procedure
Complaints Handling Procedures
1. Any complaints to be dealt with under this procedure should be in writing.
2. The Office Manager or Director of the company is responsible for the particular branch will initially deal with the complaint.
3. Your complaint will be acknowledged within 3 working days of receiving the initial complaint.
4. You complaint will then be fully investigated and a detailed written response will be made.
5. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of our initial investigation, your complaint will be reviewed by a Julie Twist the Managing Director either by e mail to Julie@julietwist.com or by post to 237-239 Deansgate, Manchester M3 4EN and a detailed response will be made including our final view point.
6. In the event that the final view point still fails to satisfy your complaint, you have the option to refer the matter to the Ombudsman for Estate Agents within 6 months of the final viewpoint letter. The Property Ombudsman, Beckett House, 4 Bridge StreetSalisbury,Wiltshire SP1 2LX. Tel: 01722 333306 Fax: 01722 332296.
