i have spent 16 days trying to arrange to view a house wit hedward mellor there ha sbeen no response to my email , i once managed to speak to someone on the phone and was promised someone would get back to me , butt his never happened. if i was the seller of this house i would be fuming. i would strongly advise not to sell your house with this agent

Over the phone they had no information whatsoever on the property which was odd. They also spelt my name wrong twice and my email was also wrong and the lady on the phone couldn't follow me simply and slowly spelling out my first name which has 5 letters in it. Therefore dealing with Edward Mellow over the phone was a challenge.
I then went to view the property and drove for 5 hours across the country to see it and a few others I had booked in.
First of all estate agent arrived late without the keys. The tenant was not in/or opening the door so the estate agent had to go back and get the keys (shouldn't they have the keys anyway?). Then the keys wouldn't open the door so there must have been some issue with the tenant not letting the estate agent in. I was promised photos of the property and updates on what was going on. I never received any more info on this property despite requesting it and I was late to my next house viewing too.
I understand this might be an upset tenant but you have to wonder why they wouldn't be allowing people in to view the house...
TL:DR Poor communication skills and unprofessional
