Having been disappointed with the service from two of the larger Estate Agents, I was contacted by Damion Merry of Fine & Country Oxford. Damion had such infectious enthusiasm for my property and the way it should be marketed……and he wasn’t wrong! Right from the start, he arranged videos, photos a magnificent brochure and a presence on his personal contacts list. Immediate results followed even before the house had been included on the Fine and Country Portal. As it happened, he also had the perfect house for us to relocate and arranged all the negotiations between all three of us, the buyer of my property and the seller of the other. Buying and selling a property can be a stressful business but Damion has worked so hard to get everything in perfect unison and with continuing contact throughout the process, I was never left wondering how things were progressing. Without doubt, Damion is a Star in the world of Property. I would never entrust a sale or purchase with anyone else. We have already given unreserved recommendations to friends.

Damion Merry from Fine and Country is a breath of fresh air. I had my house on the market for several weeks with the Henley high street agents with no success. Damion came in and did the most amazing video and marketed my property in a way I didn’t think possible. He had my house in the centre pages of The Times and all my friends and neighbours commented on how amazing the marketing was. The marketing was fantastic but the negotiations were even better, he sold my house for £2.6m which is exactly the number i’d have hoped for. After several unsuccessful weeks on the market with other agents Damion sold my house in just a week. I would recommend Damion to anyone thinking of selling their house or struggling with their current agent. He’s everything you’d hope for in a luxury estate agent.

We bought a house from Guy Simmons at Fine and Country at the end of 2020. He clearly knew his stuff about the process and the local area. He was extremely helpful and very efficient, always responding to emails promptly. He went above and beyond to provide a great service that made the process really straightforward. It was not stressful as house moves usually are and we were able to get into our new house just in time for Christmas. We would thoroughly recommend working with him.

In-House Complaints Procedure
We are committed to providing a professional service to all our clients and customers. When something goes wrong, we need you to tell us about it. This will help us to improve our standards.
If you have a complaint, please follow the following procedure:
1. Please raise your complaint with the Agent that is handling your case.
2. If the Agent cannot resolve the issue for you then please put your complaint in writing addressed to the Branch Manager.
3. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint in writing within three working days of receiving it, enclosing a copy of this procedure. The Branch Manager will then investigate your complaint. They will review your file and speak to the member of staff who dealt with you.
4. In line with the Ombudsman guidelines a formal written outcome of our investigation will be sent to you within 15 working days of sending the acknowledgement letter.
5. If you are not satisfied with the full written outcome response from the Branch Manager you can write to the Managing Director who will arrange for a separate review to take place. In line with the Ombudsman guidelines the Managing Director will respond to you with a statement of the final view of the matter within 15 working days.
6. If you are still not satisfied with the outcome, you can raise your complaint with The Property Ombudsman and request an independent review. The Property Ombudsman will request that you have exhausted the internal complaints procedure before contacting them.
7. When you have raised a complaint with The Property Ombudsman they will write to us as agents requesting our Property File and our version of the events. A case officer will then undertake a formal review of your complaint largely based on the documents from both sides.
