Horrible experience with the lettings team, in specific **. The property had not been checked by anyone prior to moving in, stains and dirt in several places (walls and floor), sink clogged up, many maintenance issues, used coffee cup on the floor. All of these issues could easily have been avoided by an agent doing a routine check of the property before the tenant moves in. It is still in this condition as nothing has been done by the agents to resolve it. The property was advertised as fully furnished but this is not the case. One of the bedrooms has no curtains or blinds, how is the tenant supposed to get any privacy or sleep? And it also does not have a wardrobe or chest of drawers. Only a bed was inside the room. This is not the meaning of fully furnished. When we expressed our concerns to *** and the team, negative responses with no compassion or understanding of the the need for basic bedroom furnishing especially when it was advertised as fully furnished. It's is so wrong that nothing has been done to install a curtain or blind, the tenant has a complete lack of privacy, she feels uncomfortable in her own room and the lack of effort to fix this has been disgusting and disappointing. Wardrobes or a chest of drawers is a must in any bedroom, the fact the agents do not agree with this will only bring them more problems with tenants in the future.

DISAPPOINTING overall!
I have to say, always had a pleasant experience with the agents, they do take their time for you and they are committed to their work.
Unfortunately I can't say the same about the propriety management team whom I have struggled with since the beginning, they mostly act in behalf of the landlord and they would rip you off whenever they can.
I left my old propriety (rented through WW) on the 31st of May 2022 and legally they have 14 days to agree on your deposit refund. We are now 25 days later and I have to chase them so they can chase the landlord.
My fault is that I am unable to obtain a council tax bill online so H&F have sent me one by post which should be received within the next 10 working days. Even if I have provided bank receipts (actual invoices where you can see all the details), they are refusing to accept this, perhaps a way to buy even more time with the deposit.
From my very own experience and with this honest review, I am asking you to avoid renting via Winkworth if your propriety will be managed by their team, it's a STRUGGLE!

We had a viewing the very next day after getting in touch with Conrad and were shown around by lovely Daisy- she was extremely professional and patiently replied to all our questions (even the silly ones!) Just the day after making an offer we were deep in signing documents and chasing references. Everything was very clear the whole time, guidance from all team members, mainly Sibel was spot on and communication was flowing and actually still is very smoothly. Since 20th December we can call what was a tempting ad our new home. Just in time for holidays. Warm thank you to all members of the team from both of us. S&A

Being a buyer looking for properties, my experience with Winkworth's different offices has been excellent, till my experience with James from the Shepherd's Bush office. I was due to have a viewing after work. I had a long day and realised would get c. 20 mins. delayed, so informed him so through all the contact means he had shared - called his direct landline as well as main office no. (both went to vm), emailed as well. I commuted 40 mins. only to have a missed call from a mobile no.(turned out to be his no. when I called back which he hadn't shared before) that he left 5 mins. back and can't be bothered to be back. Upon stating that I had notified him of my delay in advance through all means I had, commuted more than 1.5 hrs. just for this viewing (I work in EC and live in SW8) and requested if he can drive back as he had left only a few mins. back, he refused acknowledgement of any email/ call and refused to do the few mins. drive back, further was very casual about it and thought I live locally in W8 (so, possibly even my address details had been incorrectly entered on the system). So, at the end of a long workday, I wasted 1.5 hrs. commuting to interact with an agent who refused receipt of any advance notice that he had been given, accused me of making a fuss when I''m delayed, and refused a few mins. drive back to show me the property. I am really surprised by the unprofessional and lazy attitude I experienced, specially unexpected from Winkworth, and am not using this branch again in my search.

I can only sing praise to the service that Cristina provides and I must say that she has been by far the best estate agent that I have dealt with. She is proactive in her approach and always ensures that we are fully informed of any inspections. She deals with any problems efficiently and promptly; the most notable of which includes the collapsing of my housemate's ceiling. Cristina managed to get the room back to a habitable environment within a week.
