Neil was absolutely amazing, best estate agent I've dealt with, period. So nice, so friendly, super genuine, down to earth and all round nice guy. Had our best interests at heart and wasn't just trying to make a quick deal. We didn't get the original flat we wanted but he didn't leave it at that, he helped us find our new home which is, in our opinion, even better, one we may not have even looked at if it wasn't for his help and suggestions. Worst estate agent experience ever!
The process started off well enough, but it was imminently clear the agent wanted to make his commission on this property because as soon as we paid the holding deposit all communication went quite. We received no information about the process from that point forward and had to muddle through an ambiguous proposal for paying the full deposit. When we queried the contract the absolute minimum response was given, leaving us feeling unsure and with little confidence in the agents abilities. Multiple attempts to get in touch with the agent were made, multiple voice messages left and not one call returned. They also tried to send us an out of date inventory which was clearly meant for the previous tenants of the property. 5 days till the move in date and still no signed contract or details on where and when to pick up the keys! I've never experienced anything like this!
