Manning Stainton wasted our time on three separate occasions when viewing a property with them.
We arranged to view this property on a Saturday initially and made the hour long bus journey to it. When we arrived at the property, the letting agent was unable to open it and said she had not been given all of the keys to open the door. The agent was unapologetic and instead grumbled about how she was having to cover on a Saturday. These kinds of things happen so we phoned on Monday to rearrange the viewing as we really liked the look of the property from the photos. When we phoned, the office hadn't been made aware of the issues with the keys on the Saturday.
We arranged the viewing for the following Wednesday afternoon. We phoned on the Wednesday morning to check that the viewing would definitely be going ahead and they confirmed it would be. We arrived at the property to be told that again, they did not have the right set of keys. They rearranged the viewing for Friday.
It's not difficult to guess that when we arrived on Friday the same thing had again occurred. They did not have the right set of keys. The agent we were with was much more helpful and sent someone over from the office with the right set which we then had to wait around for to arrive.
The viewing process with this agency was far from professional or easy. I would not recommend this agency to prospective Landlords or Renters.

Disgusting zero service estate agent.
Don’t help unless ‘fully managed tenancy’
Have no clue about the real world, late for appointments, lie about key collections, don’t ask landlord permission to do a viewing,
A few but not all of the issues- too exhausted as had to deal with old & new tenants as they do naff all!
Seen better drafted emails from children.

Her demeanor was dismissive and patronizing, significantly tarnishing our perception of Manning Stainton as a company. The overall experience was so negative that I am reluctant to engage with her in the future unless there's a significant improvement in the way she communicates. Overall an awful person! Do not work with her when renting a place.
