I cannot understand why there are not more poor reviews….hard sales pitch/call with lots of promises, and then passed over to another person who'll tell you as little as possible! We were lied to from the very beginning- there were no investors waiting, they are no different to high street agent. Property will go on rightmove and zoopla like every high street agent, meaning if they don't sell it, you won't be able to go back to a high street agents at an open market price without prospective buyers being able to see it, so your property is permanently devalued if they do not sell… Very vague when I asked questions about their processes, now I know why…. Whenever I asked for confirmation of what Will was telling me by phone (because I was dubious about what he was saying) it never ever came… Called us to take a viewing from a prospective buyer that wasn't even on the market & they knew absolutely nothing about ….. when we questioned this we were then told this shouldn't have happened! It absolutely shouldn't have, we could have kept it on with a high street agent and saved ourselves tens of thousands of pounds if we wanted to take viewings from such buyers, instead of dropping £40k+ to get a sale from a buyer with no chain. They will lower the price on rightmove, further devaluing the property, without even notifying you. When I spoke to Will about this I was told that if it didn't sell he could put it back up to what it was before lowering, at the end of the contract so there would be no online foot print of this. I requested this in writing via email and surprise surprise it wasn't provided…… I was then told by a 3rd party that this isn't possible or even legal… Now we are trying to end the contract by giving notice they are claiming the notice period ends on the date it was marketed, which is made up, nowhere is this stated in the contract or terms or conditions. It took an extra 2 weeks to go on the market because they couldn't get a freelance photographer for over a week. In summary….. they haven't sold our property, not one viewing in 2 months, we reduced the price by £40k for a quick sale, and now we are unsold, and at least £40k worse off, only option left is to sell to a cash buying house company and lose even more, or go back to high street agent for same deflated price bettermove marketed it at…. Lose/lose.
