This property firm was established in 1998. Since then we expanded to two estate and letting agent offices to be able to deliver a great personal service to our local community. We aim to deliver a completely tailored service for each individual client. This helps us pay attention to every detail of your enquiry and meet all of client needs.
All of our staff members are experts of the local property market and live locally in the Solihull community. We are an award-winning independent estate agency, as voted by customers. If you choose to work with Smart Homes, we will guide you every step of the way and keep you up-to-date with any changes regarding property sales or lettings. There are many more reasons why you should choose Smart Homes in Shirley. Our office is open much longer than any other local estate agents. In addition, we work 7 days a week, including weekends. I have worked in estate agents over 35 years but the experience of all members of staff at Smart Homes went above and beyond expectations from start to finish.
However, there were 50 stars given I would certainly tick them all.
Helen in progression was 'outstanding', nothing was too much trouble her she did go above and beyond what most progression teams do prior to exchange of contracts.
If I move again, I would not use any other agent.
Thank you to all of you and especially Helen as my sale was extremely difficult.

Excellent service from start to finish, after tweaking the sale particulars before going 'live'.
The viewings were all done us by Smarts and it didn't take long to get offers through.
Smarts were good with their advice on the status of our potential buyers and we secured a good result.
The REAL work started after agreeing the sale, as it was fraught with difficulties and complications. This is where Smart Homes in Shirley came into their own, as the office manager, Helen Cole, worked like a Trojan in chasing up and keeping us informed and advised on both the sale of our house (Cole Green) and purchase (mid Devon).
If I ran a business, I'd try to pinch her!

Helen provided exceptional support on a tricky and lengthy sale of a leasehold property. She worked proactively to find solutions to all the blockages we came up against and communicated clearly and promptly through the process. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
Complaints Procedure
1. The initial point of contact for all complaints is either Emma Daffurn (sales) or Mark Farebrother (lettings) who can be contacted at the branch. The complainant should be provided with their full name, address and contact details.
2. Even if initially made orally, all complainants should be asked, if at all possible, to submit their own complaint in writing.
3. Emma or Mark will acknowledge any complaint promptly, within 24 hours, with a formal written outcome being submitted to the complainant within 7 working days.
4. If the complainant remains dissatisfied, the complaint will be passed to Jamie Smart (Director) who will conduct a speedy, separate and detached review of the complaint.
5. Following this in-house review, a final written statement including any offer made, will be sent to the complainant.
6. Where this still does not satisfy the customer, this becomes the “Deadlock Letter” and will be accompanied by details of how the matter can be referred to The Property Ombudsman (TPO), Milford House, 43-55 Milford Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP1 2BP. Tel: 01722 333306
7. Customers may be given a copy of this in-house procedure.
