Our first initial contact with Paul Cromwell was when he valued our house and whilst we had quotes from 3 other estate agents we found his after sales paperwork very easy to follow and understand. This was also very informative about the local area that we were selling in, giving price guidelines of other similar properties. When we chose to work with Paul he re-visited us and fully took into account our cirmcumstances and what the end result was that we were looking for. Our house was sold within 2 weeks and our dealings with Douglas Allen, Brentwood passed over to Chelsey in the Basildon office to support us through the after sales process. I have to say like Paul she was extremely professional and very diplomatic with her dealings with our buyer and our sellors representatives. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she should be commended by the company for her hard work ensuring that the exchange of contracts went through on the day that it needed to. Brilliant company and I would use them again, thank you to you all.

Not so Douglas Allen in Brentwood. From the initial meeting, Leigh-Ann was friendly and helpful and perhaps most importantly, trust worthy and factual. We looked at several properties on their books, each time meeting with Leigh-Ann, who showed us around and shared her knowledge, locally and with an insight as to the seller's requirements. It was never too much trouble, just to pop over for another quick viewing. If Leigh-Ann was out of the office, messages were always passed on and questions answered at the first availability. Once our offer was made, we were kept fully informed regarding the progress and the sale went through quickly and without any fuss! - Unlike our experiences with some other Agents!

I have no hesitation in fully recommending Douglas Allen, Brentwood for their services and in particular Leigh-Ann Smith. Just don't fall into her trap of sitting down in the property - you will buy it!! Great communication and excellent service!

I personally visited 4 estate agent offices in Brentwood using the same set of questions and requested valuations from the 2 that most fitted what I wanted initially. I was particularly keen to:
-be treated respectfully as a woman selling her home (not patronised);
-work with people who knew local market conditions, could advise as to how best to 'showcase' my home, who could show my home to its best advantage and knew how to get potential buyers to view it.
I chose Douglas Allen due to the positive, enthusiastic response I received to my inquiries and the follow up discussions during the valuation process. I am totally satisfied with my choice and am very happy to recommend their services. I was particularly impressed with Leigh-Anne Smith and her ability to follow through. All members of the team worked together well and there was a pretty seamless team effort to sell my home. It didn't matter if one of them was out of the office, one of the others was generally able to answer my question.
They vigourously marketed the property and through open houses at weekends and one to one viewings, had a total of 47 viewings over a 5 week period. During this time they were in regular contact to let me know the feedback they were receiving from viewers and we did have to adjust the initial price range in response to the feedback. We ended up with three parties interested in purchasing the property and it sold for a price that was at the lower end of the initial range.

My property had been on the market for over three months with a previous agent, with very little interest, yet as soon as I had signed with Douglas Allen, I had more viewers than ever before and sold sign up within a month.
Add on top of this their help with me negotiating a better price on my next purchase, and I couldn't ask for more. Fantastic service! If I ever move again, I'll be going straight back to this branch. Thank you Pete and Leigh-Ann, you guys were superb!
