Unfortunately, at the time we put the house on the market, last September, there was a little blip in the market because of fears of the property bubble bursting, and threat of rising interest rates. Because of this, we only got really one potential buyer, and we had to drop the price a bit. Mark explained that if we were prepared to wait we could get more, but we might have had to wait months or even a year. We were'nt prepared to wait. So in view of this, we are generally satisfied.

I popped into the branch today to enquire about potential properties. However, I felt judge before even listened to or even be taken seriously. I was helped by a gentleman and was told to practically go elsewhere to rent. The gentleman told me to go to Hart (South Woodford) as they can let to me as their letting team were absent but for some odd reason cannot help me without asking what properties I'm looking for or what my budget is. I understand the agency fees are expensive, but it is very judgemental to judge someone straight away. What I don't understand is why couldn't he take my details and get one of the agents to call me? Why direct me to another agency? Why display the company is also a letting agency outside, when they don't want to help rentals?
