Me and my partner moved to a couple room that we saw from the fox and sons portal and the address is 2, Northgate Avenue, Portsmouth, PO27RT. The name of the landlord is Gordon Miller. We have faced many unwanted bad things from the landlord as well as from the dowmstairs tenents as well.
1. One fine night the landlord came at 12:30 at night and he was making excuse that we have been fighting and throwing foods and all and gave us police threats. He also shouted at us for no reason. The landlord should'nt come at that hour.
2.There was a bed bugs problem and he refused to changed to mattress and didnt believe us that there were bedbugs.
3. The downstairs man named Greg was working with the Landlord and so the landlord was keeping him for his good. This Greg man is a racist and he cant tolerate new tenents. He always complain to the landlord and the landlord only listen to him.
4. We left the house today but the landlord refused to give us the deposit money showing the reason that we didnt inform him 1 month back and showed us that we need to pay him extra money by making many silly excuses that we didnt hoover the floor and tore the sofa.
The thing is that we have faced many problems during this 6 months of stay in that house. I also want the agency people to know whats going on inside that filthy house and what type of people the landlord brings in. I would recommend not to suggest this property to any dark skinned or Asian people cuz they will face racsim. And I also want the agency to stop doing business with this toxic landlord.

We have certainly had a very good experience with Fox & Sons on the purchase of our flat. Our sale fell through with another agent and Fox & Sons, with Gemma overlooking our case, have saved us and kept us in our upward chain. Communication has always been very easy, professional and timely with Gemma and she has always been very prompt on sorting things out, whatever time of day. The one star missing is really because the actual price it was sold for has been a fair amount lower than what the aim and agreement was, but at least we managed to keep in the chain and the sale has gone through incredibly fast, which is what we wanted. There have been occasional bumps with other members of the team throughout the sale but they have always been sorted out promptly and professionally.

I'm wondering if Alistair loves the job he is doing, doesn't involve you in making choices in the contract (he ticks, circles and writes whatever suits him) all he is after is your signature. Their contract document is doggy as well your signature is not at the ed of the terms and conditions but at the bottom page then the terms are hidden at the back and Alistair won't even make you aware. STAY CLEAR OF FOX AD SONS GUYS.

I recently asked Fox and Sons to undertake the sale of my mother's house in Portsmouth. Alister was the agent who handled the sale and I would like to register my appreciation of the way in which he handled the sale. I found him totally professional and enthusiastic to handle the sale. He was always proactive in keeping me well informed of events as they occurred, and he would happily go out of his way to help on order to make things more convenient for myself. We recently purchased a property in North End, Portsmouth and had contacted many local agents for possibilities and viewings. By far the most organised and helpful was Fox and Sons, and in particular Sam their agent. We were shown houses that met our description and quickly selected the we wanted to offer on. It turned out to be a repossession and would need to be completed in 28 days! Sam was superb, chasing and coordinating the entire thing- despite other clients and properties, she was able to 'prompt' all parties in order to meet the deadline. It was a complicated purchase dealing with a corporate company and their solicitor, my solicitor, surveyors and bank. Sam regularly contacted me with updates on progress and I felt really comfortable to call her. She was friendly, cheerful and highly proactive. In her absence, I was delighted that Sarah and Adam seemed very well informed on the case and were able to help with queries too. All in all a faultless service that I would highly recommend to anyone. We successfully completed the purchase and are delighted.

I am utterly disgusted by the customer service i have received from Fox & Sons (North End).
Firstly, I tried to register with them, so that they would send through new properties on the market. I was told that they would not put me on the mailing list unless I saw their mortgage adviser. After explaining that I have seen three mortgage advisers already and that I did not need to see another, they then kept pushing and pushing that I needed to see the adviser. After the fourth push I decided i wasn't getting anywhere and hung up on them.
A few days later i found a property online, marketed by Fox & Sons, that was perfect! So I thought I would give them another chance.
They asked me if I was already registered with them and I said I tried to register but the Mortgage Adviser was being pushed on me too much that I had to hang up. The agent then had the nerve to say to me "So, you don't want to save any money then?' to which I answered "Did you really just say that?" he said "Yeah, I did". I was in shock and hung up.
Really bad experiences - They are rude, pushy and are loosing prospective buyers. No wonder people are complaining of them not selling their properties...they keep annoying all the buyers!!!

This estate agent has obsessively tried to gain my custom from another estate agent without any approach from myself. Frequent mailings and business cards through my door have been a constant throughout my efforts to sell my house. At no point did i seek help from this agent and indeed told one of their salesman point blank at my front door that i had no interest in discussing the sale of my property with his agency - undeterred the mailings have continued. Comically he didn't even identify the correct agent that I was selling my property through despite being stood by the For Sale sign. Having agreed the sale of my home before christmas, i am still lucky enough to receive this week more mailings from this agency. Unsolicited harrassment.
