foxton regulation about the multiple properties can get discount from second one and repeat another year as well, but they charge full price . i try to contact with him but very rude and unprofessional . i refused to give the works to foxton other branch and tell them and forward the bundle emails

Incorporating pushy sales tactics and rude remarks over the phone personify what is wrong with this company.

Generally this is a crap agency for any tenants. 1) They hid the fact the rented flat is a damped property. 2) They charge unfairly and did not help tenants at all. I paid high agency fee (more than 400) and yet they even tried to charge another 80 illegally for extending my contract though... Read Full Review

Generally this is a crap agency for any tenants.
1) They hid the fact the rented flat is a damped property.
2) They charge unfairly and did not help tenants at all. I paid high agency fee (more than 400) and yet they even tried to charge another 80 illegally for extending my contract though landlord has agreed to extend periodically. I found it illegal and refused it.
3) Before I moved in, the agency staff even said I need to clean the property myself when I challenged him that the flat was not properly cleaned.
4) They did not protect deposit to deposit protection scheme in 30 days. They only produced an unsigned (questionable) certificate when after one year when I requested it. In its deposit scheme website, the property address was strange ',,,'.
5) an amazing thing they often do is, they dare keep asking for viewing the house in short notice ( less than 24 hours), shamelessly.
All in all they serve only the landlords. So stay away from Foxton.

Don't buy any properties via Foxton. Even once they accept your offer on a property they keep on accepting other offers. Don't buy any properties via Foxton.
Even once they accept your offer on a property they keep on accepting other offers.
When a sale is made, the agent in the branch get a commission, that way all the agents keep on bringing all sorts of offers even after others were accepted.
I was called to be congratulated that my offer on a house in Lewisham was accepted and that the contact will be sent out in the morning.
In the morning I got a call saying that they took more final offers and that mine was now rejected.
Be careful.

I hope this finds you well. THANKYOU!! You have got us the best house we have lived in to date.
We love the house it is so amazing, the shower alone is worth the rent but coupled with the ample storage, open plan living and beautiful decor I feel spoilt. You were so patient and understanding with us and you made the whole process smooth and palatable, especially as we were both so emotionally charged at the time. I love it when a plan comes together.

There is no doubt that Foxtons are superb at marketing properties - I have been very impressed with this aspect of their service - however their practice of collecting rents from tenants and then forwarding them to the landlord, even when the property is not managed by them, is very bad news for the landlord. When my tenant failed to pay (a significant rental amount) I was unable to find out what was happening, or if and when any funds had arrived. The staff in the tenancy department were at best indifferent, at worst downright incompetent. Despite almost daily emails from myself, they never once responded, and when called had little idea of the situation. In the end they kept nearly £30k of my rental money in their account for 3 days rather than pay it over, even though it was already significantly late. And then they made us pay £8 to transfer the funds the same day - unbelievable!

Dmitri at Foxtons made finding a property a pleasure rather than a hassle.
He came to our first viewings prepared, had great properties for us to view and had definitely catered for our needs. This meant we put an offer in that evening and from that point he made every aspect of getting the property easy and painless.
He was attentive, personable and always willing to answer any question no matter how insignificant ensuring we are as comfortable as possible when moving into our new flat.

I just wanted to send a quick email praising your team member, Oksana.
Oksana arranged for me to see a number of properties to let before Christmas. I've not taken up a property at the moment as my circumstances have changed, but I wanted to express my thanks to Oksana for her approach.
I found her to be agreeable in her manner and diligent in her research; she went beyond my expectations by arranging to view various properties instead of the one I had initially expressed an interest in. To my surprise, all of them were worth viewing.– and it felt that she had actually listened to me, as opposed to simply dragging me around a list of properties that clearly wouldn't be suitable, as is so often the case when letting.
She then kept in contact and followed up with me assiduously. In a market where people are very quick to complain when they're not happy, I thought I should be equally quick to praise outstanding customer service and courtesy. Oksana is a credit to your office.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Nothing, the damage has been done right from the day i signed on the dotted line and they continue to dig themselves deeper and deeper into a hole through continue lack of communication. I imagine if I asked them to help me change my mind they would have ignored my request just like all the others.

The problems began at the outset with me paying GBP250 for the professional cleaning service prior to my tenants arrival. My money was swiftly taken and no service was provided. Had my tenants not commented on the state on arrival the cleaning service never would have occurred and yet Foxtons had taken my money. Something about that sounds wrong to me......oh yes, it's called stealing! Later in the year some signs of damp were reported to Foxtons by my tenants and so the major problems began. Due to Foxtons lack of action and communication the issue has rolled on several months and now results in major refurbishment required, the loss of my tenants and the loss of rental income. Where were Foxtons all this time? missing, just like the alleged Manager Michael Flynn. I have had to take on the necessary works myself, from the other side of the world, where I now live whilst Foxtons Blackheath office is just a stones throw from my property. I am left wondering why I am paying the sizeable fees for the service they are not providing. I have been left very much on my own in an unfamiliar world.
