Simon immediately found three buyers. There were some issues with the property for sale, and Simon gave me advice on how best to proceed. He was aware of any delays in the pipeline by the buyer and both clients' solicitors. It was a longer process than I had first thought, but without Simon, it would have been more prolonged. He was, at every point, concerned about progress and was constantly chasing up any delays. One very important thing was he kept in frequent and regular touch with me by email and mobile. If I rang him, he responded immediately or as soon as he was able to the same day. I would not hesitate to use this company again, and would ask for Simon Stilwell to be my contact.

We purchased our house through Gascoinge Pees in Twickenham. Simon was extremely helpful in dealing with a very difficult vendor given the number of issues that came up before we were able to exchange. We chose Gascoigne Pees because we felt they gave us an honest valuation for the property we wanted to sell and they were also incredibly helpful in terms of helping us search for a house to move to. From beginning to end I found them an absolute pleasure to work with. They were polite, honest, straightforward, available when needed but not pushy. They don't indulge in tactics such as demanding we hugely reduced the asking price when the flat didn't immediately sell. They were also very patient when our purchase fell through so we couldn't complete on our sale as quickly as we'd hoped. They kept our buyer on side during this time and were understanding of our position. All in all our dealings with GP were the least stressful part of moving house, and we were very grateful for that. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and Simon in particular.

I employed Gascoigne Pees as joint agent with Featherstone Leigh on my property which had recently been fully refurbished. We were keen to move relatively quickly. We had an open day and both agents brought a large number of viewings on the day. Simon was very driven to find us a buyer and subsequent to the day and we we went under offer through Gascoigne Pees after a couple of weeks where we also went under offer to buy another house simultaneously. The buyer was much slower than the agreed timetable and Simon Stilwell had to do a lot of chasing up for us to keep the transaction progressing and on the verge of exchange the buyer pulled out over very minor points despite hard work from Simon. We remarketed and after a couple of days went back under offer (through Gascoigne Pees) to a different party who after two weeks also pulled out. However fortunately the original party came back and completed the transaction and allowed us to complete on the house we were trying to buy (also through Gasgoine Pees) and the different branches worked well to keep both deals alive through some trying times with some difficult buyers and we thank them for their perseverance.

We had a particularly complex purchase that had been commenced by a previous agent until the property was re-possessed and we then came to deal with Gascoigne Pees. Neil Oates was proactive from the outset and personally researched any items that arose that potentially hampered the sale (such as a Unilateral Notice) which was incredibly helpful, very much appreciated and likely way beyond usual services for an agent. He maintained relations with a number of parties who were in conflict at various times with great decorum and with an ability to resolve and progress. The process was begun in early 2012, came to a halt due to the bank in re-possession then started again in October 2012. The process was arduous and throughout Neil maintained faith and positive input - chasing solicitors on all (three) sides and using his local knowledge to great advantage. He became for some time the prime channel for communication in a four/five way dialogue and I firmly believe that without his continued input, great patience, intelligence and determination to resolve we would not be owners of our new home. When all was concluded in late April this year (2013) and the call came in from our solicitor the first person I called was Neil which says a lot (well, my wife was standing next to me so I didn't have to call her). All I can say is well done and thank you to Neil and to Gascoigne Pees for making what sincerely seemed an impossible sale progress to completion.

Gascoigne Pees, picked up our property when a sale wasn't moving forward with another Agent. Simon Stilwell valued the house and oversaw the selling process. He vetted prospective clients, found a buyer and checked out their status before beginning negotiations. It was an elongated sale with hitches along the way, but Simon kept us informed and worked to meet our minimum asking price. When all was lost at the last hurdle he still came up with a workable solution that suited all parties and ended in the sale completion. We appreciate all his time on this, he very much earned his commission.

Simon did everthing he could to help us with what turned out to be a long transcation to sell our home.
He helped with the Agents for the property we bought and with ours buyers over 6 months of offers.
He was always professioal in his dealing with us and also always has been very friendley even when I have
been stressed out with buyers letting us down and the chain of sales nearly breaking down , Simon was
very positive about the outcome, this helped us get over the lets downs, he always kept us up to date and
informed with everything that was going on. we had not move for over 30 years so were up to date with
selling property, we need all the help he gave us, I did help us a lot, both Mrs Grieves and my self have a lot

We first approached Gascoine Pees through their Teddington Office since this is where we bought the house back in 1979. The manager referred us to Matthew Cook in Twickenham who quickly made contact and arranged to meet to discuss marketing of the house. Matthew kept us appraised of progress in preparing to market while we were away overseas for 4 weeks and on our return contacted us to bring forward the start of marketing for valid reasons with which we agreed. There were 5 viewing on the first day and we were not present. 2 days later he called us with an offer which was higher than our asking price and we were pleased to accept including a request that we make the house available for the buyers by the 30th October. We are delighted with Gascoine Pees and Matthew Cook. We had high expectations of Gascoine Pees but these were exceeded
