During our long search for a property, we encountered many agents. NONE measured up to David and Ryan's professionalism.
They were on the ball from start to finish in selling our home but when we viewed properties through other agents, we felt so let down, They couldn't answer any of our questions, even very basic information about the properties they were trying to sell. It was always "I don't know!"
David and Ryan go above and beyond to help their clients and nothing is too much trouble. You feel safe in their hands.

Ben was a good salesman when it came to the signing up process, said all the right things, that's why I signed and agreed an exorbitant fee. When it came to viewings we had some young lads doing them.. They were poor, forgot to show them parts of the house or tell them about key features i.e Solar Panels, A Garage, Side Access.. I think to sell the property it helps if you speak to the buyers, talk to them about the area, the house... not just open the door and go... here's the kitchen, lounge, bed room 1 etc etc..
At this point I felt I could have done a better job and quite frankly we did. The man that brought it in the end was someone my wife showed around as the estate agent that was there was late and when he was there was pointless.
We finally got a purchaser!! I had to then negotiate with another estate agent and agreed to discount our property to get the sale through or we would have lost our new house. Something I thought our agent would have done but didn't feel this was happening.
In all the sales process was a shambles, not helped by the poor quality service provided through Prospect in Wokingham who we were buying from and our purchaser was selling through. They had 3 deals on the table and I felt there were too many lies and the service was not what I was promised and ultimately almost lost us the house.
However, credit where credit is due.. once the manager of Wokingham Prospect was fired, due to being awful, and I kicked up a fuss about the time the whole process was taking Ben took the bull by the horns and pro-actively sorted the exchange and completion process.
This is the only reason they are getting one star, this is purely for Ben's work in the final two weeks during the final process.
Apart from that, I would suggest use an online agent as the above process cost me a lot of money and do not feel I got any of the service the cost warranted.
My advise would be avoid...

Where other Estate Agents had under-valued the house, Ben stood firm that he could sell for what it was worth and he followed through on his word. They were fantastic drumming up people to show round quickly and got the house sold in really quick time and although our first seller fell through, within 24hr with his calm nature, Ben had another seller in place! Adele was also great with the aftersales, she was really on the ball, chasing things up and following things through.

Ben comes across as having a very laid back personality but he is thorough and gets the job done, which is exactly what you want. Harry was also good showing people round, a lovely lad! If we had any problems at all we let Prospect know and they were on it! I can't recommend Prospect Estate Agents Winnersh enough, people are all to quick to complain when there is a problem, but I think it is good to praise when a job is very well! I would definitely use this Agency again and have already recommended them to friends and family. Thank you for all your hard work, you work really well as part of a good team !

It was all done very quickly. I like to micromanage, as I never know if people are doing their job correctly. This then leads to Adele. All the way through the sale process, every time there was a milestone, I received a call from Adele who gave me a full update. In turn, I found she has been working hard behind the scenes to chase my buyer every step of the way to ensure things were done not only to my schedule, but to also chase up anyone who were a bit slow.
I heartily recommend this agency, as they have been professional, friendly and always welcoming. The free sweets were also a bonus.

We were first time buyers and Prospects made the whole process really easy from beginning until the end. Adele was always on hand to keep us informed of what was happening and what we needed to do next, she made dealing with our solicitors much less painful and always let us know when the sellers solicitors needed anything or had sent documents etc across. We complete early on in the day and had the keys in our hands that lunch time!! excellent overall service.

Ben Hamlin, the branch manager over valued the property and didn't deliver on the promises he made regarding the services they offered. Once he had us "signed up" he showed no further interest in the sale of the property and left it to Hugo and Dan. The particulars produced were less than inspiring and needed re-writing by myself and when the property was advertised on the various web sites (Right Move and Zoopla ) they got the headline number of bedrooms wrong. Hugo was polite and helpful but Dan disinterested and we didn't get the feedback promised on a regular basis. The only reason they are getting 'poor' and not 'terrible' is that Adele Jode (transaction support) was brilliant. She did everything she promised and chased all the solicitors and other agents to bring the sale to an exchange of contracts and then completion.

We decided to sign with Prospect Winnersh in February 2015 as we were looking to sell our property. After a reasonable sales pitch from Ben Hamlin the branch manager who promised us all sorts of wonderful things, we went eith Prospect.
That was more or less the last time we heard from Ben, as he passed the property onto Hugo and then Daniel who managed to 'forget' to confirm viewings so we had random people arriving at our house but no estate agents there. We also experienced weeks of no contact yet miraculously when we called for updates the agents always had at least 8 potential viewers that they were about call us to book in.
The agents also held two open houses informing us they had a packed day of viewings, yet feedback from our neighbours was extremely different.
The straw that broke the camels back was on a Sunday whenyself and my children were ill and yet another poor unsuspecting couple arrived to view the property, unfortunately we had not been made aware again & turned them away given we were sick. On calling the office afterwards, Daniel clearly recognised our number & decided to answer his own extension pretending to be someone else.
To summarise, this agent talk the talk to her you to sign up, but need to be constantly chased and bugged for anything to happen. They are more than happy to lie to your face.
