Roger was recommended to me through a colleague. I had no recent experience in buying a home but Roger made the whole experience less stressful. He explained the types of mortgages and helped me find a mortgage which was right for me. He always reminded me that if i had any questions or worries , i was to call him which reassured me.I am extremely grateful for his advice.

The general office staff are okay, but had a similar we'll pass a message on and get back to you approach. Needless to say, they hardly ever returned calls or did the things they said they would.

Delighted with the service I received from Amie Preece at Beresford Adams Wrexham
She was friendly, patient and professional, replying promptly to any concerns I had via both phone and email. I felt throughout that Amie took my interests and concerns seriously, and was doing all she could to ensure a successful sale of my property, particularly when it was difficult to get in touch with my tenant so viewings could be arranged!
She was also empathetic and understanding when providing advice/information and as circumstances changed during the time the property was on the market.

We have had to pay again for searches which was £350 each time,when we were advised that the 100%retention put on property was not our fault but santanders and would not have to pay again on new property we are purchasing.

The staff, Louise the manager, Amie and Chanel were always very polite and courteous and couldn't do enough for us, they always answered any questions put to them and if they didn't know they would get back to us with the answer. The staff were very good. I have two complaints. Firstly the time it took to complete the sale of the house; it's taken nearly 6 months because the first time buyer was delayed for a number of reasons. Beresford Adams should not have accepted an offer without knowing what paper work was needed besides the mortgage offer in principal. It was a lack of experience in my opinion,this should have been explained to other people in the chain to see if we were all willing to agree in principal. We, and the people who were buying our house have been ready to exchange since the end of September. The second complaint is that a house we were buying had a 100% retention put on the mortgage that Louise and Roger (mortgage) advisor saw, read and complained to Santander for issuing the mortgage. After the house sale collapsed we were instructed that we would have to pay for searches again, �350. We were told by Bresreford Adams that we would not have to pay again as a 100% retention was put on the mortgage and was not our fault so we would not have to pay for searches but solicitors instructed us that we had to, very much to our disappointment and reluctance, we paid. We didn't have this extra money and had to borrow to make progress in the purchase of our new house.

Admin fee is overrated just to print off something on some paper I could have done it myself for less than £10 I understanddthat it has to be paid for but ink and paper does not cost over £200.

Beresford Adams were proactive in their approach, communicating with solicitors and removing as much stress from us as was possible.
They worked as a team so any holidays did not delay any of the process or the level of service we received.

When my house did sell chanel kept me informed throughout the whole selling process which can be quite a stressfull time but knowing everything was going through as it should kept my stress levels to a minimum. Would strongly reccomend using beresford adams, and would definately use them if needed in the future to sell a property.

I was recently out actively viewing properties for a buy to let. The ladies listened to what I wanted and only offered me properties that were suitable which would give me the best return for my money. They were always very polite and enthusiastic even when I wasn't interested in a particular one. I dealt with all of the staff in the Wrexham office at different times and I can honestly say that I couldn't fault any of them. I eventually put an offer in on a house that I liked right for the start and with a bit of give and take on both sides we agreed a price. The solicitors threw some challenging tasks to the girls to get the house completed and they fell over backwards to try and help. I have now put both of my houses up for rent with them and I'm hoping to keep up an excellent working relationship with the Lettings team like I built up with the sales ladies. Thanks again and keep up the good work!
