We sold our house through Foxtons, Harrow. Shaun Bailey who is the branch manager valued our property and provided guidance on target price. He understands the market and what can be achieved. We also spoke to other agents but their valuations were lower and they didn't seem to have in depth knowledge of the market (eg Squires seem to rely on historical value from land registry plus a % age uplift without taking into account the building and refurbishment that we did) . We achieved a sale within 8 weeks through Foxtons. Unfortunately our onward purchase fell through so had to spend time looking for another property but Shaun managed the process extremely well keeping our buyer informed all the way through and providing valuable advice to us. He is very professional, knowledgeable and pro-active. We finally completed last week at a great price with our original buyer (with an uplift in price due to the delay in timing). In the end we achieved a sale price at just above original asking. Very highly recommended!

BE AWARE! No matter what you do, FOXTONS will take away a big chunk of your deposit if not all. I can't say enough about those people who protect and cover themselves well. Whilst Foxtons fees are higher than some other estate agents, in our opinion, they worked incredibly hard and delivered the results others agents weren't able to and achieved a higher price for our property. You get what you pay for and we got a top notch service from Foxtons and were very happy with the results.
