I purchased a flat in Queen Square Bloomsbury from clients of Fyfe McDade in March 2016. The charismatic Alex Taniewski-Elliott worked with me on the purchase. I initially was introduced to the firm by my daughter who lives in Bloomsbury. She had noticed their offices and thought their set up looked sharp. In addition they were always helpful when she popped in to enquire about flats for us. We live in San Francisco and needed to have someone on the spot looking on our behalf. On a visit in December 2015 I called Alex who responded immediately. He showed us a couple of flats but i really wanted was something in Queen Court, Queen Square. Being the man he is Alex knew of something 'off market' that he said may be coming up. It is rare that flats over looking Queen Square come around. Alex arranged a viewing and we fell in love with the property and were successful in purchasing it three months later. I have been in the property business for 46 years both in London and San Francisco and don't really get impressed very easily. My criteria is simple. I like straight forward honest professionals who are hard working and get the job done. Throw in a bit of humor and that is the package. Alex worked extremely diligently throughout the process carefully protecting his clients interest but at the same time assiduously and meticulously ensuring that we were presented with all the facts to enable a successful and smooth purchase. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Fyfe McDade. Alex and his gang are a very well oiled machine and highly knowledgeable in their patch of the market. Thank you very much Alex and I also value your keeping in touch. I always appreciate your time when I drop in unannounced. So I hereby present the firm with a Five Star Rating. If you have a complaint about the service you have received from any of the Fyfe Mcdade Ltd staff, please put your concerns in writing (ideally by email) in a letter to the Branch Manager (see below). The correspondence will be acknowledged within 3 working days. The matter will be investigated, and a full response sent to you at the email or postal address provided within 15 working days.
If you feel the matter remains unresolved, please address your complaint in writing (ideally by email) to one of the directors of Fyfe Mcdade Ltd who will instigate a thorough investigation and respond to you with a final viewpoint.
Fyfe Mcdade is a member of The Property Ombudsman scheme (TPO), and in the unlikely event that you remain dissatisfied with the outcome of the in-house complaints procedure you may refer the matter to the Ombudsman within six months of the final viewpoint. To refer your complaint to the ombudsman, please visit the TPO website (tpos.co.uk) and complete, sign and return a TPO Complaints Form.
