A incompetent and stupid agency. Their supplied plumber caused water flooding to both my property and downstairs property. They attempted to use the SAME plumber to fix the problem again which did not fix the leaking pipe. They don't quality assure their suppliers. Then attempted to charge for me the defective work by plumber. When I protested I was told " I was making money out of this". They even charged me the management fee for this period. Disgraceful behaviour. I followed up my insurance company who were unable to get in touch with the plumber and it took over a year to reclaim the insurance costs. In addition they put a tenant in my property who was not looking after the property and then proposed to tell me everything was fine. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Ray and the team are completely incompetent. *The team are incompetent at the roles and treated me like an idiot. I will NEVER do business with them again. AVOID this agency at all costs

My family left the rental property some time back and the agent will not return our deposit. My family spoke to a recommended person at another branch who made it very clear that it may not be the first the owners of Harrow branch have kept the deposit for themselves. If we don't receive the monies back this week then we will have to seek help by way of a solicitor to guide us.

I had an amazing experience with Ellis and Co Harrow. I started renting with them in 2011, since then they were looking after me extremely well. When my landlord decided to sell house where I was living they found me straight away beautiful place in very similar price they helped with everything. TEAM IS SO SO SO HELPFUL. Now I changed towns I moved out of Middlesex and I didn't had any problems with receiving my FULL AMOUNT OF DEPOSIT. And amazing recommendations for my new place when I was looking for. Waste of money. We pay for a management service but always end up dealing with the problems as the agent ignores everything. Friend of mine lives in the same road as the owner of the agency and apparently he is more interested in holding sex parties with prostitutes.

I have been renting my house out through this agency and rarely receive my rent on time. Every month I have to remind them to send it and it arrives 10 days late if i am lucky. I have complained so much about this but it gets ignored. I have my own bills to pay but have to wait til Ellis & Co are ready to pay the rent to me. I was told Kam Kalla is in charge of accounts but he has never once replied to me. My tenants pay the rent on time each month to the agent. As soon as my tenants leave, I will use another agent. Ellis & Co are most unprofessional. I used to deal with their manager called Dan Vincent who was very efficient to handle my enquiries but since he left, the service is just shocking.. If you want to use Ellis and co then the only advice I can give you is to make sure the tenants pay the rent straight to you and not the agent. Typical example of a shoddy agent.

The staff do not answer their phone, the property manager never returned phone calls or got back to me when issues arose within the property. I'm not sure what the point of them was, they did nothing and more often than not I had to resort to contacting the landlady directly or vice versa as they never acted with any haste.
The property 'manager' Dan was evidently unable to live up to his job title on numerous occasions.
Even during the intial viewing, Ray was ridiculously late. That should have been my first warning sign to steer clear of this company!
I am disgusted with their service and their attitude. Estate agents are notoriously known for being unhelpful, rude and self righteous, and the Harrow branch of Ellis and Co has clearly tried to live up to, if not surpass these expectations.
Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere!
