We made the huge mistake of dealing with Swallows in Frome.Moved into our property Sept.2018 with a number of issues that were to be attended to as soon as we moved in.Just 2 items were done, as of today we still have a heating/water boiler that still doesn't work..had engineer out twice who confirmed it has always been a problem and needs new parts and a general service...landlord wont agree to replace and Swallows take no action to get this issue resolved.Our first visit from Swallows was on Wednesday last week .Andrew took pictures of the mould and damp , the windows that are sealed shut , the loose stair rail etc etc etc (all items noted last September when we moved in) we are now 9 days on and guess what ? Not a word from anyone.Have given a one star rating and that is just because of how efficient they were when they took our payment...agreed to pay 12 months in advance.BIG MISTAKE !!! Please dont deal with these people , they have no interest in their clients and offer no assistance whatsoever
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

Avoid at all cost the conditions they expect you to live in are disgusting as you can see from the photo attached of a massive hole in our bathroom floor we have complained about for months along with black mould in bedrooms bathroom and living... Read Full Review

Went to view a property that was on the same land as a lovely lady who owns converted stables. We were toured around by her as she was happy to do so. As a landlord, I rent out 2 properties through Swallows and have done for several years now. Rather expensive for little return - the Agent is only on the side of the Landlord NOT the tenant. No support whatsoever for the tenant

Swallows have taken over our property from another agency in the area, and what a difference. They have efficiently dealt with problems that already existed at the property and have been quick in responding to communication. I would heartily recommend them to any landlord. Thanks again...
