Would highly recommend Melanie to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. We have recently had to sell my Mother's house and she helped us make the whole process almost stress free. We were kept updated on progress on a regular basis, and all dealings with our Solicitor were dealt with very promptly.

Kerry a negotiator seemed keen to get the process underway until I mentioned I was in receipt of universal credit along side my salary from my teaching assistant position. Kerry quickly became unaware of the process and requested to call me back when I asked again she had already gotten to the reference stage with another prospective tenant. I'm sure Carson and company are aware that fielding prospective tenants and dismissing perfectly good Tenants for receiving government assistance is unlawful, as is keeping LL in the dark about updated government legislation. Alas when I asked Kerry for Carson discrimination policy, she wasn't so dismissive of my UC and questioned to total annual take home ( including UC) which was about as genuine as her other prospective tenant. All the more reason to escalate the situation. Furthermore when estate agents lie they're not so sloppy as to tell prospective tenants that less the 24 hours after the listing went live another viewed, liaised,and secured the property. ( 9am-16:00)

2020 9th Sept. Martin from CARSONS came to value our property in Northfield, Lightwater. "Realistic selling price £550k" (as we needed to sell quickly as we had our hopes on buying another property).
14th Sept photographs and plan completed
15th Sept, sales negotiators all came so they knew what they’d be talking about on accompanied viewings
15 Sept p.m. property went live
Between the 17th & 22nd we had 14 viewings (+ another two 2nd viewings) we had 7 offers from 4 parties. We accepted final offer on the 23rd and completed in December....... Well done CARSONS.
Comparing that experience when two years earlier we were tied in to a 22 week contract with another Lightwater Estate Agent (Chancellors), who falsely raise sellers hopes of achieving a higher price than they’d originally expected (presumedly to get the contract) and saying they had many viewings lined up = 3 in three weeks and 5 in six weeks! Suggested reducing the asking price by 5% after three weeks (a very common practise for them). Contract selling fees incorrect and sale board not erected for weeks. Their staff didn’t know what they are talking about and repeatedly told lies .....And more importantly THEY DONT SELL THE PROPERTY WHEN THEY NEED TO....pretty crap really!

A rare find with estate agents and progressors who genuinely care. From the first moment we met Tim, we knew he would be honest about selling our house and help us through. Once we had accepted an offer Melanie, our progressor, stepped in and she was simply A-MA-ZING all the way through. We had a tricky lead up to exchange (due to chain below - nothing to do with Carson's!) and she was there every step of the way. Tim kept in touch all the way through. Real customer focused service. The agents fees were extremely fair considering the amount of work undertaken on our behalf.

We had a long journey to completion due to 2 prospective buyers dropping out on the week of exchange at no fault of Carsons. The second time we went back on the market we were only on for a few days before Carsons found a buyer whose offer we accepted. This buyer dropped out at exchange due to ill health. Back on the market and at least 15 viewings in the next 2 weeks, including the offer that has just completed. Tim, Nish and Luke were extremely supportive and professional throughout. Their advice was always good and helpful including realistic views on the asking price and how the market was changing.

Also, very helpful and supportive was Melanie Williams, the sales progressor based in Lightwater, who kept chasing each of the buyers and their solicitors. She was always up to date on the position of each sale and has a lovely calm and friendly manner. She is also very persuasive which I am sure made the last sale speed up!
I would recommend Carsons Camberley team and like the idea that Carsons have a dedicated Sales Progressor who can keep on top of the details and can assist if the sale is stalling.

As a single woman, I was daunted and a little overwhelmed by the thought of moving. However I was very impressed with the team at Carsons - they were friendly, organised, gave me useful feedback from potential buyers, and were positive throughout the whole experience. On moving day, my cat became lodged under one of the kitchen units and we had to scramble to get him out in time! Due to the drama I forgot to take meter readings. Carsons were extremely helpful and even communicated with the new buyer to resolve this for me. In short, I would highly recommend the team. They will give you a fair valuation, and a professional service.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I was intending to rent a property through Carsons. 3 days before moving in they call. 12:30 - the negotiator calls and says references all okay can we take the other �3000 for the deposit. Of course. Money gone. At 13:00 the manager calls to say one of references hasn't passed due to my partner having one month left on his 3 month probation despite his work telling them a full time contract was waiting. I was told I needed a guarantor. But Mike refused to help me find a solution or offer me any advice. He shouted at me down the phone telling me I hadn't done enough I was making life difficult. He wouldn't be sending me back my money and he wouldn't give me a number for head office. Amazing what you can find online and by visiting the loca area. All I wanted to know was the answer to a few questions. In between phone calls he called the landlord and called off our tenancy. Now we're homeless and �3500 short as I have to wait for a cheque to return the deposit. Mike has ruined our hopes of having a home before Christmas he's taken �3500 and has provided us with such a bad experience. He was so rude and his customer service was so unbelievably awful I can't even put it into words. Locally he is known as the sports direct manager - gone from selling trainers to ruining people's lives by selling and renting houses.

I was particularly impressed by the way everyone knew who I was, when I called, and which property I was selling. All calls were returned almost immediately and Nick even assisted me with my potential purchase through another agent. The entire team were a pleasure to deal with.
I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.
