Nasty, money grabbing and greedy estate agents I would never ever use them again. I rented a property through them last year. It was a fixed 2 year contract. They asked me to break the contract as the landlord was going through some "personal" stuff. In good faith, I agreed to it. The scumbags didn't deserve my kindness. They looted a lot of money for a "call out fee" which I wasn't supposed to pay. I even have the email form some person call Lee Porter that he or she will make sure I don't get charged the full fees. At the end, I just decided to pay these nasty buggers the money despite suffering a huge loss. When the inspection lady used to visit my house she used to make remarks like " Aww, your house is so beautiful. You have maintained it so well. Blah blah blah". Despite that, at the end of the tenancy these morons charged me a hefty amount for " holes in wall, scratch in the paint" and things like that. I believe they pay the inventory clerk a good money to make money out of tenants. I took them to the tribunal with the deposit dispute the the greedy manipulator who works at the office ( can't remember the name) wormed his way in with them and I didn't get justice. Stay away*!

I have been letting with Dexters since 2004 and my property has not been empty for one day. the Management team look after the property extremely well and keep me well informed. my only complaint is that for the first 10 years my property managers remained the same but in the last 4 years I have had 4 different managers which is not ideal. having said that, my current manager Craig Cox is absolutely BRILLIANT. I hope he stays and remains looking after my property.

We were struggling to sell our home in the area for a matter of months until we received some mail regarding 'a fresh approach' and, I couldn't stress enough, how well their approach worked! They managed to find us a buyer within 10 days of marketing!
From the marketing, to the buyer's feedback and all the way through to completion, we were given a five star service from all in the team! I would like to thank each and every member of staff for helping us and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of moving in the area!

I made the decision to put my house on the market earlier in the year and asked a number of the most popular local agents over to give me a valuation. I received a number of prices, some reaching ridiculous levels, but decided Dexters seemed the most reliable after giving lots of evidence to reinforce their price. Abigail seemed very genuine and knowledgeable and I felt very safe in her hands, which as a lady on my own was extremely comforting. The team where fantastic from start to finish! The sale wasn't easy with lots of bumps in the road, but Abigail and her team really looked after me and I couldn't recommend them enough. Yes, they aren't the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for.

I would give a minus if I could. The agent treated the tenant like nothing. We had an issue with the light bulb in the bedroom that could not be changed. The company ignored my message again!!!! Me and my husband were looking for buying at the same time so we got calls from the sales agent frequently. There was a sales girl who called once and I told her as well about the light buld issue. She promised she would talk to someone about it. And guess what, nothing happened!!!! Basically, Dexters is just a company which only thinks about how to make sales but does not care about customer service. I was very disappointed. I have been renting with different agencies and Dexters is the worst. At least other agencies were willing to help when people needed them.

These agents are utterly appalling, i advise you stay well clear and i agree they are all out for the landlord in every way. We recently checked out of a property they were supposingly managing which was filthy, very poorly decorated, we lived there 3 years and left if spotless and decorated throughout, they are now disputing this but we have the origianal inventory and compared against this one, they have not got a leg to stand on. 3 years we had a dripping tap they repaired it 2 weeks before we moved out for new prospective tenants. Utterly disgusting treatment. We paid 13,00 a month and they did not repair a damn thing or replace anything. We had an oven with one rack, very old oven which they didnt replace. Also never had working smoke alarms and they never bothered to check them or fix them either. They are very rude and have no people skills, well not towards tenants anyhow. I am going to tell everyone i know who private rents not to deal with them at all, my advice to anyone is go elsewhere or you will be very sorry!!!
