We engaged this agency to sell our house in mid - October. We feel the agency is better suited to lettings. I am very very upset right now - our boiler has broken, we have a 4 month old daughter and this estate agents supply you with no out of hours emergency contact or sufficient contact details for the landlord. This is very very stressful and I feel that this is SO wrong! We're stuck now until monday ... Read Full Review
What agent could do to change your mind?
We love the flat, and have been treated well generally by Ellis and Co but this situation is beyond ridiculous.

On the few occassions I have needed to speak to them regarding general maintenance issues with my property they are always fast to respond, very helpful and knowledgeable. I have since referred friends and family to Ellis and Co (Enfield) who are also very impressed with the services they provide.

After interviewing 3 estate agencies we went sole agent with Ellis & Co. Richard Oughton provided excellent advice about the correct manner to present the property for sale and with his very go-ahead attitude found a buyer almost immediately and at the price we wanted. The sale progressed extremely promptly and we had excellent feedback from both Richard and Nadia at all stages of the process. From placing thre property with Ellis & Co to completion/exchange took 8 weeks in total! A truly exceptional feat and I am extremely grateful to Richard and Nadia for their professionalism and courtesay throughout. I would definitely use them again.

Ellis and Co have fully managed my property for a number of years. From the outset they asked how much involvement I wanted, and informed me and updated me about the property when needed. I have used the Enfield Town office since 2002 to manage the letting of my propery. I have always found them to be very helpful, friendly and professional. Nadia relates well with the tennants, immediately addresses any problems with the property and informs us of any issues.They have always achieved a good rental income for the property, taken up the appropriate references and avoided any vacant periods between tennants. I have no hesitation in recommending the company to any other landords/landladies.
