I have heard people say how difficult it was for them to secure an apartment in Bristol through an agent and this was one of my worries when house hunting. In my experience I have found Northwood's Estate Agents to be excellent.
I've used them as a Letting Agent years and I also sold a property with them recently.
I met Hannah Drummond back at the start who was very polite, knowledgeable and clearly has excellent values as a person, I found that to be throughout my time with Northwoods.
Matthew Hodge was the Letting Agent and worked diligently throughout the years I've known him.
Matthew Bingham was the Selling Agent and was a great help when I needed to get the sale over the line, very good at what he does, very good communication skills, which is what you need at times.
Overall I give them 5 stars as it's rare to see people not only good at what they do, but you can tell they are genuinely good caring people, rare in my experience.
I've never regretted using this team of people and would strongly recommend them to others.

Hannah, Mathew, David and the whole Bristol team really do a great job with various levels of services offered by Northwood. Its very reassuring to have their wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to guide me when letting my property. I have used Northwood many years as I am always impressed by the friendly communication, guidance and advice as well as the more technical services provided. Like the 360° virtual viewing video produced and the detailed inventory.
And I will definitely use Mathew Hodge as a pre check out/ vacate again. There was a dispute regarding the of the deposit. Mathew managed this professionally, keeping me informed at all steps of the process. I think the presence of a professional helps to ensure tenants view vacating property a little more seriously. Resulting in smoother change over of tenants. And more full deposits returned to tenants as they are then awarereminded of things that need to be done .
Would definitely highly recommend .

It was clear from our first meeting with Matthew that we and the sale of our house was in good hands. Northwood Bristol is the best Letting Agent I have used in 10 years.
Preparing a property to let and finding a new tenant when you don’t live locally can sometimes throw up extra challenges. Nothing was too much trouble for Hannah who was professional, friendly and empathetic throughout the whole process.
Victoria, the viewing agent met six potential clients and her feedback was professional and extremely helpful. A big thank you to Divine who jumped in her car at short notice to run an unexpected errand for me.
I will always use Northwood Bristol from here on for Tenant Find service and when the time comes I will not hesitate to hand over the reigns of managing the property to them.
Thank you Hannah and all the team for helping me find a great tenant.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). Complaints Procedure
Complaint Handling Procedure
Northwood aims to run a high calibre lettings and estate agency business. Whilst we do our best to operate in a professional way and to the highest standards, it is possible that you may be unhappy about how we have dealt with a particular situation.
We have a standard procedure for handling complaints which is as follows:
1. Making an initial complaint
Each office is independently owned and operated and has a local Director who will be, in part or in whole, an owner of the branch. In the first instance your complaint should be directed in writing to the local Director. He or she has an honest and sincere desire to resolve your complaint as soon as possible and should respond within ten working days.
2. Making a formal complaint
If for whatever reason you remain dissatisfied then you should write or email us. Please provide full written details of your complaint and copies of any supporting evidence. The Complaints Officer, who will provide an independent review of the complaint, will investigate your complaint.

3. Receiving your complaint
We will acknowledge the receipt of this written complaint within three working days and explain our process for resolving it.
4. Resolving your complaint
We will then investigate your written complaint as soon as possible and write to you as soon as we have completed our investigation. This process should take 15 working days. In our letter (the final viewpoint letter) we will explain:
?The outcome of our investigation
?What we will do to put things right if we have made a mistake
5. Property Ombudsman Review
If you are still unhappy at this stage, you have the option to take your complaint to the Property Ombudsman within six months of the date of the final viewpoint letter. The Property Ombudsman will not investigate any complaint that has not followed the in-house complaints process. Further details of the Property Ombudsman are available at www.tpos.co.uk
