Terrible customer service, very bad management and slow to action anything. They make you report anything that goes wrong and take weeks to respond. Hardly ever end someone to fix anything . Terrible customer service, very bad management and slow to action anything.
They make you report anything that goes wrong and take weeks to respond.
Hardly ever end someone to fix anything .
Our landlord it getting ripped off and we are dealing with the lackadaisical approach to getting anything fixed.
This includes our fridge which stops working in summer, the timer on the gas boiler and the tolilet
It takes multiple calls and emails to get anything done massive pain to follow things up again again and again

Foxtons Lettings have the highest commission in the business and by far the poorest service.
Save yourself alot of headache and avoid this company.
As a landlord i've had the worst experience with these cowboys.
I am still waiting for the rental income, Which they say they have received from the tenants from 2 month ago, but they have apparently send the rental income to a wrong bank account and still hasn't sorted it out.
I have chased them non stop in the last 7-8 weeks, and as of today still nothing has been done.
They almost never reply to the emails, every time I call the office, i've been told they will handle it immediately and come back to me, but then i don't hear back from them, this has been ongoing now for weeks.
Clearly the relevant staff members are breaching their agreement with the customer and their contract with Foxtons.

Advice to anyone trying to rent property with them:
1. Foxtons has landlord-first approach - Journey might seem good in the beginning when you are going for property visits, but becomes a nightware after the contract is signed - delays to get the repairs done, and getting back your deposits due to their landlord-first approach.
2. Do self-inventory - If you wish to go with them, please make sure that you have all documents with you - photos when you checked-in and checked-out and please get them signed. Though they have a paid inventory company, they cannot be trusted. Please do go through their check-in report, do make photographs and get them signed with Foxtons. Please also make sure that you are available at the property this private company comes to "make" check-out report.
3. Keep track of your conversations - Please also make sure that all your communications with Foxtons are recorded somewhere like emails as you will need them in future. They have a option to report issues in their website, but they closes them on landlords behalf even if you have raised the issue and have had no resolution.
Tenants, you are on your own - good luck with Foxtons. I've not got my deposit back even after 55 days I left the property. Silent landlord, silent Foxtons.

Have been trying to buy a Bellway property at the Acton Square development through Foxtons in Shepherds Bush. Absolutely useless service from Foxtons. Did nothing but harass me at the start of the search to the point of it being unbearable to speak to this lady. They don't listen intelligently when you actually give them interest. Didn't show all of the properties available. When I finally found one through working with Bellway (no help from Foxtons at all) they sat on vital emails (didn't use my updated contact information like I had asked them to) whilst I had told them to act on my behalf while I was on holiday and dealing with a family emergency for the day and then lost me the flat I had told them I was ready to offer on. Incompetent, lazy, insensitive service. They do not deserve a penny of commission from Bellway for this sale. The Bellway agents and the buyers are doing all the work here while Foxtons pick up the payments. Pointless using them. Buy through another agent if you can or direct from Bellway. Hinderance not a help.

a very professional and charming individual. She clearly takes pride in doing a good job.
In my particular case as a landlord of a four bedroom house in Shepherds Bush, Annabelle was solely responsible for letting out my property. Over the last four years Annabelle was always very keen to find tenants that meet my requirements. She always provides extremely valuable market insights and recommendations that help me making important decisions. To my opinion she is running one of the most effective teams in Shepherds Bush for Foxtons.
It would be hard to envision someone doing a better job than Annabelle or being anything but happy in choosing to work with her and her team.

I made my offer with the promise if the anyone pulled out for any reason they would pay the other sides cost, survey, searches etc
Mark at Foxtons told me this was agreeable by his vendor so I went ahead with the sale, my side was ready to exchange 2 weeks after the 4 month stage due to a slight delay due to birmingham midshire having a backlog... the vendor indicates they want to push the sale back a further 6 weeks, I agree and proceed to pay further to process the sale, the vendors then decide they no longer with to sell.... Very frustrating to say the least but its not the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last...
So I go back to Mark at Foxtons and say I would now like to be reimbursed for my expenses as agreed and I expect Foxtons to support me as an innocent party they point blank refused to help me...
Foxtons cannot be trusted, Foxtons cannot be trusted
Do not believe a word they say...
They in not so many words said you've wasted 4.5 months and £2,500 processing this sale, you've been shafted and the agreement we made on your part meant absolutely nothing and we just said it to agree a sale and get our fee!!
This behaviour is exactly what gives estate agents a bad name!!
I would not trust anything they say!!
If you buy a property from them get everything in writing, their word cannot be trusted at all !!

I am absolutely delighted with the service received from Jordan Milne at Foxtons Shepherds Bush, who has been attentive, kind, extremely responsive and always with a smile.
Everything has gone so smoothly and so quickly and Jordan was brilliant working VERY hard to help me find what I needed. He takes only few minutes to get back to me concerning anything and has been able to reply to all my questions in a kind and respectful way.
He only showed me properties that could suit my requirements always trying to provide the best service. He also gave me very good advice on the different areas of London. I would definitely try to get in touch with Foxtons again and with Jordan in particular in case I have to move.
I couldn't have asked for better!!
