Well, where do I begin? To say I am furious is an understatement. Me and my 2 friends moved into a property with entwistle 7 weeks ago, to be now advised that our property is unlivable. In this case both the letting agent and land lord are a match made in heaven - he is refusing to do the work apparently so we are living in a house damaging to health! ! We are left in a situation where we have been asked for a months rent plus deposit for a new place to live with them!!! Despite the fact the property they moved us into was not for for use from day one! We are in this situation solely because of entwistle green and their greedy lying ethos. We have been repetedly lied to and ignored so have now contacted environmental health to inspect the property. Some of the staff are extremely rude and unhelpful and as for the branch manager- his name should be scotch mist, he is never available to speak in the office and is constantly out of the office! Seems like a pretty good job to me! No void inspection exists for my property, no compensation policy or complaints procedure exist apparently and they will say anything to get you off the phone. I cannot express enough how terrible this company are- unethical and breaking tenancy agreements without a care in the world! The stress this has caused me and my housemates and the damage it is causing to our health is not what we paid nearly £2000 for- 7 weeks of misery and illness with no resolution in sight.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

The fees are what they are, other agents came in slightly cheaper, but did not have the interest to sell my flat. Entwistles pulled out all the stops and sold it, I retained the original estate agent who hardly sent any viewings to the flat - possibly two in three months, Entwhustles sent numerous.

Avoid. Really just what all the other negative reviews say. Positively abusive at times. Awful. So many hidden fees. Told there was no initial charges yet the first months rent all went to them for "advertising fees" then there was renewal fees and a cease of contract fee which is nowhere to be seen or discussed initially. Also promised a floor plan on the initial advert which never materialised so even fees they collected for specific tasks that weren't done! They were also keen to lower the price of the rent within 3 days of it going on the market due to "limited interest"
