Fraser & Co gave minimal notice when wanting to view the property, took on average at least one week to reply to emails, and had a complete lack of internal communication (in three days we had emails from five different employees saying the same thing). It took nearly two months to get our bond returned (they tried to charge us for missing items that weren't missing also). In the last year of our tenancy the agent who was dealing with us changed three times, and the handover of information appeared minimal. Towards the end of lease, they were focused only on finding new tenants so they could keep profiting from the landlord. They left us feeling like we were dealing with an unprofessional organisation, particularly in the last year of tenancy. If you can avoid dealing with Fraser, your lives will be a lot more jovial.

£75 fee for renewal is excessive and we weren’t advised until we went to pay the deposit of an extra £40 fee for a guarantor.

No fee for the buyer, but there was a refundable holding deposit which only concerns the buyer. Basically if the buyer withdraws they loose 2k. This does not apply to the seller, they can withdraw with no charge. Which is not a fair concept. Also according to the write up the deposit will be refunded after exchange, but it's upon completion in reality. Anyway I got it back in the end which is all that mattered to me really.
