I have 2 experiences from dealing with Wards.
The first was they came to do the sales pitch to sell my house. This was the typical hard sale, glossy photos, charts etc on how they are the best etc etc. However, they would not give me a straight answer on how much the fees would be to sell. I was repeatedly asked what other estate agents I had coming to offer to sell my house. I like things straight forward & to know upfront how much the fees will be. If someone cannot give me a straight answer, then I become suspicious. I declined Wards & sold with another estate agent (thankfully!)
My other experience was a few weeks later when I viewed a house & subsequently put offers in. On the open day, I was let into the house & left on my own to get on with viewing! I found this a bit surprising. I would personally want the agent overseeing potential buyers , when viewing my house. I thought I might get a call afterwards asking for feedback, but nothing. I had to chase Wards up telling them I was interested!
Anyway, I liked the house & put 2 offers in lower than the asking price. Both were refused. That is fair enough, so I then offered the full asking price. I was told that I would get a call back the next day. This was on 20th February 2018. The next communication that I had from Wards, was on 6th April 2018 (6+weeks later!!!) This was an email from Maisie asking if I was still interested. I stated I had not heard back, so I had moved on & bought another house. She just wished me luck.
I am so glad I avoided Wards. I would be annoyed if I was the seller of the house I viewed.

This is the first time I have had dealings with Ward and Partners and I was very impressed with Mattew Pattenden's professionalism. He had someone in mind who he knew would be interested in the property and he was right, so within a day my property had been rented out. This minimised the disruption to the tennants who had not moved out. He has provided information I have needed immediately and is proactive in finding out whether I have any problems. A real pleasure dealing with him and the team in the HQ.

Many thanks to the whole team at the Gillingham Wards letting branch for the excellent service they have provided to me over the years that I have been letting property.
I would like to say special thank you to Laura Cale who I have mainly dealt with over the years. She has always been very helpful and providing me with information when required and has always communicated well with me to keep me informed on how the letting proses is coming along.
And I must say she is very good judge of character as I have only had one bad tenant over the years.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to other landlords in the future which I have done anyway.

The entire branch is professional yet approachable and my experience was unlike any other ive had with an estate agents. I met with Adam, the branches mortgage advisor/broker, who explained everything clearly to me and spent time making sure I understood information I was given. Unfortunately for us it ended up that it was not the right time to buy which of course was not the best of news for us but I really appreciated the follow up phone call from Julia the day aftr this was decided which I feel sure most other agents would not bother doing.
I will, without doubt be recommending Ward&Partners to friends and family and I will be using them in the future when the timme comes to purchase a property.

This was the first time I used Ward & Partners to rent out my flat and I have to say I was very impressed. From the first phone call to enquire about the letting services they offer to the day my tenant moved in the team at the Ashford branch were very helpful and friendly. As I didnt live local to Ashford, I had to do all the letting via email and phone but that wasnt a problem at all with the staff at the branch. I mainly dealt with Alex who was very friendly, helpful and professional throughout the process and regularly kept me updated with the viewings and once the tenant had signed which I was very impressed with. Can't fault the branch and Alex specifically and would definitely use them again.

My wife and I have found the service from Wards to be excellent. In particular Alex has always been attentive and helpful. He certainly does get things done and I now just go to him with any problems. There is no doubt in my mind that Wards are the best letting agents in the county. Which is more than I can say about another agent we use in Folkestone who FELL by the wayside on every count.

Firstly I bought my property through Ward & Partners a couple of years ago for the purposes of renting it out. They were so helpful. They found me a tenant immediately.
