Sold property in Sept 2017 after it was marketed at 250k and sold for 249k just over three months later The Manager * relinquished the service after we accepted an offer from a cash buyer not carrying out any further marketing or doing any sales progression and they claimed the full fee and took us to court They never did a market appraisal They breached a collateral agreement that **deliver the service who was transferred to another branch after we signed their contract. Appalling service and zero professional duty of care, not kept informed Deceitful & dishonest Undervalued the property by 20k; our neighbouring semi was marketed at 285k and sold within two weeks for 280k in May 2019 Reported them to the Property Ombudsman who found in their favour no surprise when we discovered TPO is funded by Estate Agents and there is no independent appeals process. TPO took six months to process the complaint and they never supplied us with a copy of the EG defence! Asked for a copy of EG journal and also by FOI request both refused by TPO. A nightmare cost us a lot - financial harm and harm to our health. Lost almost three years of our life fighting for justice. Rather than customers we were victims.
